   I visited the Asda Pharmacy recently to collect prescriptions for my twins. When I gave both names, the staff member (Sara - who seems to have gained another review on here of the same nature) seemed peeved and abruptly told me to give one name at a time. I explained they are twins and I usually say both together, but her response was rude and dismissive. The interaction continued to feel unnecessarily harsh. When asked to sign the prescription declaration, I started to write the date and was snapped at—“I didn’t say do the date, did I”—and later made a simple mistake ticking a box, to which she responded with visible frustration (slamming her head into her hands). Her tone and attitude made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and belittling. As someone with a hidden disability (inattentive ADHD), small tasks can feel overwhelming, especially after a long day with unwell, 4month old babies and when my elvanse has worn off. Rather than being met with patience, I felt judged and embarrassed. To make matters worse, when I said I still needed to collect the second prescription (as I had originally requested), I was treated like an inconvenience. I usually wouldn’t leave a negative review, but the way I was spoken to genuinely impacted me. People working in healthcare—especially in pharmacy settings—need to show empathy, patience, and professionalism. I hope this is taken as constructive feedback to help improve future customer experiences.

   I have just received a dignified person focused consultation with your pharmacist called Samir. She listened to what was important to me which left me feeling “heard” and an individual not just a diagnosis. I appreciate how busy pharmacists are in light of restrictions making it difficult for people to get a GP appointment but she didn’t rush me. We need more Samir’s in this world. Well done and thank you !!

   My GP had messed up my prescription leaving me without medication and having a mental health crises on a bank holiday. One lovely lady in particular at this pharmacy helped me through the 111 process, calmed me down and got me through the time until my meds kicked in. She literally saved my life that day. GPs often mess up and this lovely team are so organised and do their best.

   The lady I spoke to on the phone was so so rude, I was enquiring about something I needed urgently as I am pregnant and need to take said medication, she basically said to me ‘how would I know what’s on your repeat prescription’? I’m pretty sure you can just print out a piece of paper with my repeat medication that’s ordered monthly and tell me.. or look on the system, it’s not rocket science, just a very unhelpful and off putting attitude

   Unable to get through on the phone (28 calls in total, gave up) Went to the pharmacy and asked for phone number in case i had the wrong one, I hadnt. Stood in shop ringing the phamacy, not a sound to be heard. I conclude that its unplugged or on silent.

   Seriously RUDE staff. Had to use them for emergency prescription service for and elderly relative who had moved house and their new pharmacy could not deliver on time. The staff at Asda pharmacy were rude, unhelpful and confrontational. Total disgrace and vulnerable people depend on these horrible people.
