    Had an extremely rude staff acted terribly towards me. I was about to pay for my item and saw this employee right in front of me giving a heavier duty bag to another customer, he had picked this bag from a box just next to him. Then I asked "please can i have one of those bags?" he pointed to a distance of about 10feet saying "get one over there" i asked again" but there's some next to you" he again pointed over there with a frown on his face. I walked to and fro away from the self-service machine to pick the bag wondering why. I had to ask another employee "Is it a crime to pass me a bag from the box" This experience totally ruined my day and I kept on thinking why? This employee that has done this will go about their life like they did nothing, it takes no energy to be kind, especially at your job. This is not the first time employees at this Lidl branch have been rude over a bag I'll be paying for. it's not free. Why should buying something be a reason for someone to be treated terribly? Why single handedly be rude? This employee is terrible because he looked away nonchalantly while I was talking to his colleague about what he had done. I and my household will not be shopping at this branch of lidl ever again, every time i pass by i still get a pinch from what this VERY rude staff had done. it takes nothing to be kind to customers and assist as employed to. I used to shop at for over six months and never experienced any ill-treatment as such.

    The recent redesign of this store has improved things drastically. Whoever thought the previous L-shaped tills layout was a good idea?? My average queue waiting time has dropped from 10-15 to 5-10 minutes which is a genuine improvement.

    Small but clean environment to shop. There have placed a new barrier and self service check so you need to have your receipt at hand to scan for the door to open. A sign would be better at the front as some elderly would struggle with it.

    Just visited this shop and I must say although the shop had everything I needed it, the polish lady at the self checkout, Lina, was really rude. She spoke to all customers with ego, disapproval, discomfort and disrespectful, I don't complaint or review often when I visit places and customer service is not good, but her manners and way of speaking to us, it's definitely not right. I had to wait as my till requested personal assistant, when she came in (before given a dirty look as to all the other customers) She answered me, my chicken was giving error, I said it was just the bag she put in as it didn't happened before without the bag, she rudely replied raising her voice, its the chicken, I know better, I work here, you don't. She then continued to treat all the other customers with the same disgusting manner.

    Tongs for pastries are provided by the Lidl, but unfortunately I saw two eastern European ladies using their hands to shuffle through pastries and picking up. There was no notice or staff to stop them. It is not hygienically good for other customers. Need to do bit more.

    When the Lidl is empty of shoppers it's great. You can get around and shop as you need. But, when it's crowded which it is most of the time, it's got low stock options, so small and claustrophobic and people rushing past you without using manners. I'd only use this lidl for small small shop.

    Lidl is getting in the festive mood! Lots of foods and articles with great deals stacking up leading into December. Make sure you only going when it is quieter. So, mid afternoon or early evening during the week is best during the pandemic. Items are selling out a bit quicker but they are being restocked so do not panic buy!
