   I went to buy food and wine to cook and I’m student living alone here and Lidl is very affordable for students living far from home I travel with friend 20mins to come here we forgot to bring our physical id but we had Evisa but manager didn’t accept it but one of my friends had physical id he try to buy but even they are asking for all of my friends physical id. And we didn’t buy anything

   I went there with friends to buy wine and food for Christmas I’m the one buying it I had physical ID. I didn’t understand why the manager asking for all my friends ID but they have online they didn’t carry physical unfortunately most of the people don’t carry physical ID nowadays cause they have everything in online. And we didn’t buy and walk away.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars) I was shopping about an hour before closing, as this Lidl is quite small and gets crowded during the day. I don’t usually write reviews for Lidl, but the service I received really deserved one. While I was packing my shopping, a jar of red pesto slipped off the packing stand and smashed everywhere. Tate, who had already been incredibly helpful earlier, came over straight away. She/they was calm, reassuring, and genuinely kind instantly making me feel at ease and telling me not to worry at all. She/they even asked a colleague to bring me a replacement without hesitation. Tate is honestly one of the loveliest and most professional staff members I’ve come across in a supermarket. Her/their friendliness, patience, and the way she/they handled the situation was above and beyond. She/they turned an awkward moment into a really positive one. Great customer service!

   DISGUSTING. I (28 year old) Went to buy a bottle of rum for my uncle, for his birthday… the manager refused service even though I had my ID. I was the one paying. He had A LOT of sleep in his eyes, couldn’t even be bothered to present himself in a decent way before coming up into my face. He said it was fine, that I just needed My ID but then changed his mind right after, stating that he needed her ID also, though he knew she didn’t have her ID when he first approached us. I’m mortified because of his attitude towards me and disgusted that such unhygienic people are allowed to work with food. Clothes were unclean, face was unclean, overall, unclean. Couldn’t even buy food after that. I am appalled. Do better LIDL. Disgusting. Always have flies in their pastry anyways.

   Every time I gaze through the automatic doors and catch sight of the bakery, I am irresistibly drawn inside. I proceed to select a few items. I chose some blueberry muffins from the shelves, and they were delightful.

   I'm really disgusted by everything I'm hearing about the chickens Lidl sells. They're bred to be extremely fast-growing, so they are deformed and get injured and sick so easily. There's no way I'd buy chicken from this store again now. Poor chickens. Please sign the Better Chicken Commitment, Lidl!

   Staff are always really helpful and friendly. Checkouts are always quick. This particular branch does not carry a lot of the Lidl branded items that you can find in bigger Lidl stores, but despite that, the essentials are always in stock. The location is also very convenient, as there are bus stops so close to it. Highly recommended!
