   Please avoid, rotten vegetables, sweetcorn expired around 2 months ago I recently placed an order online for home delivery from Great Wall supermarket. It was delivered to me in the evening, and then I found rotten loofah and several stinky clams. I was a bit concerned about the quality of food that I received, so I took a couple photos and sent them to the owner of Great Wall Ltd. (长城超市). The owner reclaimed that I could still eat loofah after cutting off the rotten part, throwing away the stinky clam, and eating the rest. I was shocked to hear that, so I expressed my concern to the owner. Soon after the conversation, I found the sweetcorn I ordered had expired around two months ago. The owner said he didn’t notice the issue; he requested photos of the expired item. It was my second order of sweetcorn, which means I already ate several expired sweetcorns without notice of the expiration date. It raised my concern for food safety and quality, so I told the owner that I would report the issues to food standards. The owner was very unhappy and asked me if I still wanted to do it, even though he would issue me a refund for rotten vegetables and expired food. Please avoid.

   I bought instant noodles that were produced two years ago and expired last year in this shop. They also sell cakes that have expired half a year ago. They definitely know the products have expired because they put them in the most visible places with big signs. The eggs I bought from them are not fresh either. The owner tried to persuade us to buy some suspicious products that obviously have been refrozen several times. I'll never come back to this dirty scam shop.

   The pictures attached shows the respect the owners of this shop have to the local community. My home entry is literally next to that bin. Owners believe what's outside their bin is not their concern. Rubbish around the bin just accumulates and owners play a blind eye. Every single shop all the way from the pub to bathroom shop cares and show respect. The Great Wall Trade owners do not. They have made outside area as their storage. Wind blows, all rubbish is flying around. Dear owners, what is needed is simply to sweep the area around your red bin daily and I can guarantee you will make a huge difference to the community. Surely it is not a lot to ask?!

   Rat House/shame to local community This is a rat house. Do not buy from this place. From the front this place looks nice and clean but see the pic of what the magazine door is piled up with. Rats are all over it and the owners do nothing to make it better. It's an absolute disgrace and local council is being made aware. We wanted to speak to the owner but they completely ignored us saying it's not their rubbish. They have no respect to clients and local community. Other shops act with dignity but these guys have no morals. Pic taken this morning after polite request to clean over 3 separate occasions. Think twice when supporting such terrible behaving business owners.

   I have been shopping here for 3 years, but not anymore. Because the owner threatens me not to shop as I do not accommodate their delivery favour due to food safety concern. It always comes with silly mistakes, such as wrong order, missing order and wrong total, i don’t mind as they are not major. I am devastated today because I order the grocery with preferred delivery time the next day. Then they show up at my door same day afternoon without checking, their explanation is no delivery on Sunday, but myself nor my neighbour are not there early. I told them it’s not ok to leave the grocery with frozen food outside for security and food safety reasons. The owner doesn’t think that’s a problem and suggests the outside is a natural fridge. At the end, the owner commanded me “take the order” or “no shop again”, as he explains he incurred cost of delivery.

   Great selection and well stocked chinese supermarket in north west London, I've never been to the shop and only ever ordered online, great service and expedient delivery. Some of the veggie on offer is even better than any other asian supermarket Ive been in London, check it out!

   This supermarket lists on deliveroo but never fulfills any order. They are using deliveroo as an advertising platform. Everytime u order they will call u and give excuses such as no driver, no stock etc. Totally unrecommended. p.s. their english is also horrible

   The parcel was successfully delivered but two items were missing. I didn’t realise this until 6 days after the purchase, and kindly asked the boss to deliver those missing items when I make the next purchase. But he stubbornly refused to do so and insisted that my items might have gone bad instead. Overall poor communication and don’t recommend.
