Really crowded shop, I think they could have less items and larger aisles as other customers bulldoze the aisles and don’t allow you to even stop to pick something up of the shelf. Its handy location and staff are nice.
I visited your store on 6of September to purchase a 12-bottle case of beer. After completing my payment and while carrying the box inside the store, it unfortunately fell due to the packaging not being properly secured. A staff member came a few minutes later to take the box away, but the handling of the situation was not professional. Shortly after, the store manager informed me that nothing could be done and that I would need to purchase a new case at full price. When I asked whether all bottles were broken, I was told they were. I eventually bought another case, and later the manager returned with 8 bottles that had remained intact from the first box. While I appreciate receiving those bottles, the way the matter was handled was disappointing. This incident was clearly an accident, and I believe a more professional and customer-oriented approach should have been taken. In many other stores, the damaged case would have been replaced immediately to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. I kindly request that you review this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure such situations are handled with greater professionalism in the future.
The staff are very keen to provide assistance and the three lovely ladies Farak, Kushi and Sukuna especially, always service with a smile. It is well stocked and it really provides a very good service for us at Battersea Reach.
Pretty average Tesco, pretty crowded layout if I'm being honest and a little pricey compared to most Tescos which is odd because I didn't know they could do that, but they do have a wonderful selection of almost everything you would need!
This is my local Tesco metro which I used to visit daily on my way home from work before Covid. It’s always well stocked and the staff are lovely especially Nilam who stands out as a really helpful, polite and friendly member of staff. He always remembers you and makes you feel welcome in store. He deserves a rise!
Pretty decent tesco, with most the things I need in store. Although the smoked salmon keeps going up in price so I buy that elsewhere now! The regular security guard and a couple of the male staff are super friendly! All it needs now is a hermes print in store like other tesco express stores and it would be perfect! Hehe
Worst of all Tesco's. Most employees are rude, ill-prepared, uneducated at all. Only the security guards and a skinny old cashier who are polite. there is a blonde lady super arrogant, a Woman at the TBM cashier very arrogant. Unfortunately it is the closest and forces us to buy here
Where did all the helpful stuff go? In case any one from Tesco is monitoring : 29th of May , Approx 7:30 PM. While trying to self check out ( I had my own bag) the system kept on going off mentioning that I am not placing the goods correctly. I understand I may have been doing something wrong. All of a sudden a lady who was minding the only cash counter comes up and says in a rude voice 'you are doing it wrong' and goes off without mentioning what is the correct way. Customer service 101 : At least offer to help if something is not working. Then I had to call some one else from the store to get it sorted. Every small experience counts. So pls treat your customers right.
Nice and convenient local store. It`s really small but intended to serve the basic everyday needs of local people that are living nearby. For bigger shopping it`s recommended to go cross the river to Sainsbury`s. This one is perfectly suitable for quick a quick shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful at the time when I went there so I can recommend this store.
