Small Sainsbury’s with lots of products. I don’t do my main weekly shop there but it’s great to have around the corner for the extras and things we’ve run out of! Refurbished recently - pleasant environment. If they don’t have what I’m after I try the other shops on the high street and I always come home with what I need.

They made a big reshuffle, and now finding things is not straightforward. Bread next to cat food isn't a great setup, but it is better than two months ago when cleaning products were next to baguettes.

It’s rare that I give a bad review but I’m in this supermarket everyday as I live next door. The regular security are great and the staff have always been friendly, until about a year ago when there seems to have been a significant change to management. Nothing is ever in stock despite constant deliveries. The majority of new staff simply do not want to serve you and if you ask for their help a lot of the time they make you feel as if it’s an imposition. Half the self serve tills don’t work and the store looks grubby despite having a refit about a year ago. The only reason I’m writing this is because the way this store is run is shocking and a reflection of how Sainsbury’s operates as a business. If you go into Aldi the staff are great and everything is well organised, Sainsbury’s needs to re-evaluate its priorities.

Update 2023 Ignore reviews older than August 2022...they are talking about the old store before the complete rebuild.. Some days they do half price crisps & pringles. The bakery stuff is often sold out by 6pm. Since the internal revamp the place is brighter, cleaner and with better selections of fresh produce as well as prepacked. Staff are helpful, courteous and friendly. Can't fault it now.

Was closed for a couple of weeks for a much needed refurbishment. Now much better, they have utilised the space better and put new compact shelves in and most importantly it is fully stocked with a wider range of produce than before. Much improved. Only minus counter availability of staff still hit and miss.

Too allow this shop open, Sainsbury's is burning their profits. On a weekday evening, cannot find tomato, no cucumber, no avocado, no carrots. Only huge cage blocking the tiny spaces. If you want to pick up some veg after work, avoid this shop. Also the security guard asked me to take off bicycle helmet. What is for? The helmet doesn't cover my face at all. It is not a motor bike one.

Several staff were not wearing masks when I entered the store at 6pm today. The security guard was allowing customers without masks to enter. When I reminded the Sainsbury’s staffers and security guard of the COVID-19 mask requirement, they ignored my advice and accused me of making a scene.

The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. I even got called a "pr*ck" by one member of staff just for looking at the sandwiches - as if customers who buy sandwiches are considered the lowest of the low. Stock just stands on the trolleys blocking the aisles and isn't unloaded onto the shelves. Another staff member refused to cut open a bundle of newspapers - "no more papers!" he said - even though there was still more than two hours to closing time. By far the worst Sainsbury's I've ever been to in London.
