   Mitcham Market is a large, open market in the London Borough of Merton. It is open every day, and is home for stalls selling a wide variety of goods, including fresh produce, meat, fish, cheese, flowers, clothes, and household goods. The market is also home to a number of cafes and restaurants, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors.The market has a long history, dating back to the 12th century. It was originally located in the town square, but was moved to its current location in the 19th century. The market has undergone a number of renovations over the years, but it has always retained its traditional character.

   A small island which has a good number of stalls including fruit and vegetables and flowers. It seems less stalls open during the weekdays ie. Thursdays but especially during the warmer season more stalls are open during the week. A nice 'island' to visit as there are many more places to see whilst there. 100++ stars for location and quality stalls.
