This store has a wide selection of products and good fresh fruit and veg. It caters well for a range of tastes including vegan and gluten free foods. It is accessible with helpful staff.
Very poorly managed environment for replenishment staff. Unrealistic expectations were set, with five cages expected to be completed within four hours before the shop opened, which was still achieved despite minimal support. A significant amount of existing stock had been placed incorrectly, requiring time to relocate items before replenishment could properly begin. Breaks were delayed due to workload pressures, leaving the situation physically overwhelming by the time a break was finally permitted. The only positive aspect of the shift was briefly working alongside a colleague in the home baking section, who was friendly and helpful.
Donato manager 9.15 am. Toilets are covered with urine and dried faeces. A human hazard. He says toilets haven't been cleaned yet. They open at 6 am. Absolutely disgusting and is a health hazard. I had to use the disabled toilets which are accessible by a key from the service centre - after three attempts they found the right key. Tesco either instil supervisory accountability in your staff or recruit more cleaning staff. And finally Donato I was not ‘sarcastic’, nor was I rude. I was animated given the appalling level of hygiene for which you are supposed to address.
I’ve been a happy client for years. The recent introduction of self service tills and reduced number of cashiers has had disastrous consequences. Queues are horrendous, especially on weekends. I now prefer to go to better managed supermarkets, even if more expensive.
Huge thanks to Aman from Tesco Colney Hatch Lane! I was trying to find a particular spirit for my friend’s birthday and was also in a very big rush, but it seemed to be out of stock. The manager Aman went out of his way and even checked in the back to find it for me. I consider this to be amazing customer service as he had a great attitude. Thanks to Aman!
Absolutely a nightmare standing at the self-service for a good while just because they want to encourage people to use self-serving instead of paying someone to scan your items. This is disgusting and taking forever. By the way, those who are currently working there think it's not right and disgusting. Instead of having a quick shop which usually takes me 25 minutes, I was at the store for nearly an hour just trying to get to pay point. Think before you make such ridiculous changes that affect peoples day to day.
I recently moved to the area, and went to this store for my "first shop" with my kids. As it was my first shop for the new flat and i was with my kids, it took me a little longer than the allowed two hours, I was fined for overstaying in their parking. This whole experience has left a rather bitter taste and I will be shopping elsewhere from now.
Can’t check stock levels on the phone, use the app, went to store was told they were out of stock. Very helpful Tesco. Really good system you got there. Customer service was very unhelpful and took ages
They always confuse the price.that not once or twice,when you check out,pay the money,then you found that you spent more money.this spam can is £2.45 club card price, but when you pay,it’s £3.00. I really don’t that is my fault?
Shopping at Tesco is very pleasant. There is a large selection of fruits and vegetables, of high quality. Plenty of prepared meals at low prices. Refrigerators for dairy products such as yogurt, cheeses, are loaded with a variety of products. The bakery section is very good, the shelves are constantly filled with fresh pastries. Nice variety of breads. Vegans have a selection of products in all departments, including vegan chocolate, vegan ice cream and many types of vegan yogurt. Club members have a big discount. Our discount was about 8% of the bill
