   Update on 31/05/2023: Tesco made significant changes in this branch. evri printer always works. The layout of the shop is reorganised and much better. They added 2 self service tills, so it helps with the queue. Finally, you can pay the petrol at the pump, so you don’t need to go in. This is very helpful! Previous review: 1. You need to sort out your Hermes drop services as the printer is never working. Every time, you need to go there with your printed barcode or you won’t be able to leave your parcel. 2. So many shelves work going on in busy hours. Because it is a small grocery/petrol station, I wish they prioritise the customers and find a way to shelve products without those big metal cages. 3. The employees are mostly very helpful as we asked their help many times and they happily helped. 4. The security’s job is not easy since they experienced some bad events over the last months and they are trying to do their best. Good luck with that. 5. We went there in middle of the night for petrol. There were people inside but the shop was closed. You could pay on the petrol pumps but somehow they said it is closed and we are not able to buy petrol. It was a little bit confusing and we left for another petrol station.

   The petrol station is just terrible, I have gone there 3 times and every time the pay at pump system simply does not work and I have wasted time I could have spent travelling for no reason >:( don’t waste your time it’s not worth the aggravation or confusion

   There is a really awful man of Indian origin (or whatever) with glasses who is so freaking rude that works here! He is also short. I sometimes shop here or buy petrol. I always wear a glove cause I don't like touching anything from outside & he came out from nowhere, was incredibly rude & said that anything I touch I must buy! Like what?? If he speaks to me ever again, I'm going to tell him to take a hike!

   Visited the Oakwood/Esso store this morning & was spoken to very rudely by the short fellow behind the counter. Very aggressive & rude. Needs to be retrained on he’s customer service skills. Won’t be spending my hard earned money here anymore. Another customer lost thanks to this man with little man syndrome. Please Stop taking your frustration out on customers.

   Staff are always friendly and nice. I’ve read that people wait ages to be served, in all my years I’ve not had much of an issue with long service wait times (and I go at least a couple of times a week). My only complaint is the Hermes drop off which I agree never works. It’s better to remove this facility and stop advertising it as most the poor ratings are related to this!

   Staff are always friendly and nice. I’ve read that people wait ages to be served, in all my years I’ve not had much of an issue with long service wait times (and I go at least a couple of times a week).    The worst!! 1. Never any staff on the tills. Expect to wait 15 minutes to be served. The best part is that there’s always between 2-4 staff stocking shelves. But never anyone behind the till. Surely you want to serve people?? 2. The printer never works for parcel returns. Just update your website to say that you don’t offer the service. Clearly a number of reviews say the same thing… 3. Due to the long queues, you’re missing out on custom. People leave - prioritize your staff better to serve when it’s busy. It’s been the same for the past 4 years but clearly Tesco/Esso aren’t bothered about making any money as people drive away when they see the queues at the petrol pumps (and at the tills).

   This place is always chaos. Very slow service, staff are doing nothing whilst one on the till. Place has dodgy tiles on the floor and isles blocked with baskets which is just an accident waiting to happen. See my pic!! Shop also changes its selections to often and does not have a wide rename of basic things!!
