   we shop here regularly so we know the good and bad both. Sadly, its mostly bad. recently we had been treated really badly by member of staff who was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Self Checkout is quite often understaffed and coupon printers are mostly out of order. While the pricing had gone up, quality of service has significantly dropped. We are happily opting in for Waitrose next door simply because of the way we are treated in there.

   Just bought bottles of water here as staying at the Premier Inn. It’s the closest supermarket. We were using their self-checkout tills when the lady noticed our bottles could not be scanned as they were part of an entire pack. Appreciated the help. If she herself hhad a hard time locating the code in the system, what more for us? Anyways, didn’t realize buying water could be this complicated. Otherwise, you’ll find lots of things inside from veggies and fruits to drinks and pre-prepared foods. We even got a plant for a friend we’re visiting the following day.

   A store large enough to find everything you need. The shelves are well stocked with essential items as well as a wider variety of products (gluten-free, exotic, frozen, etc.). I found everything I wanted and more (including products with a short shelf life at reduced prices).

   This is an atrociously run Sainsbury's supermarket on many different levels. They make you shop using extremely large and heavy family sized trolleys because they have so few normal sized trolleys. They have repeatedly given assurances that they have more normal sized ones on the way but this is obviously a lie as none have appeared and 2 years have passed by since they made the promise! They obviously care little for their older customers who have arthritis who really struggle pushing such heavy trolleys around. They also have large gaps in the shelves with many basic essentials out of stock right across the store. They say this is down to the war in Ukraine, but Waitrose supermarket right next door have all the basics on their well stocked shelves and often British produced goods rather than foreign imports. Standards have slipped dramatically in this store and shopping here has become a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Their employees constantly shout out directions when using the self service check outs which adds to the overall bad experience. Avoid like the plague. Not in the least bit recommended.    Very negative experience today left the store around 11:27 this morning and had to deal with a very rude member of staff working on self checkouts. Instead of informing me politely that I needed a receipt due to having to scan out of the store which I was unaware of, she pretty much screamed at me.

   Truly horrible shopping experience, noisy shop, unhelpful staff who seem to enjoy screeching at customers at self check outs. New idea is having to scan bar code at gates on way out, so not so easy to escape the ghastly experience. Will not be back in a hurry.

   This store is always very well stocked. Good variety of groceries and homeware/health and beauty. There is always a member of staff on the tills, which is a rare these days. Staff are helpful.

2. Locations with Ajla-rae ★★★★☆

   Came here to pick up some milk for my brother, The store is large with a big selection of items. The parking is for 2 hours if you spend 10£ in the shop, the staff in the car park is nice. Self check out was moving fast and the woman there help us to watch my brother as he kept trying to run away. Altogether it a well run location. Thanks Ajla
