Security guard very offensive and rude. Also they lock you in the store. I had to wait at least a minute for them to open the door for me and other customers.
Very friendly staff here and recently renovated and well organised. There is a very lovely lady working there called Alina who is always so friendly, smiley and helpful and is always a pleasure to to talk to!
I want to raise a serious concern about the conduct of a south asian security guard working the closing shift last night (29/06/2025). My girlfriend, who was dressed modestly, felt extremely uncomfortable because the guard was blatantly staring at her backside in an inappropriate and unsettling way. I noticed it while leaving as well and reminded him not to be a pervert. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from someone in a position of responsibility and trust. It made both of us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I hope this matter is looked into seriously to ensure all customers feel safe and respected while shopping. Won't be going to this shoddy establishment again.
I've been shopping here for many years. The women on the cigarette counter have to be the most miserable people I've ever come across, not only that but they look at you as if they hate your guts. My partner stopped buying his tobacco here because of this reason and after today while the women ignored me as she was more interested in putting out the scratch cards. I've decided I will no long be buying my tobacco here either.
The security guard who works night shift is really bad he follows me and watches everything little thing I do, even when I’m at self checkout he’s watching me like a hawk it’s very rude! I shop there at least once a week, he should do his job better and watch out for actual shop lifters instead of watching regular people that haven’t stolen anything. I spend around £25 each time I go there so why are you following me?
Im really annoyed I've been using this tesco for over a year and shop here regularly and have spent a lot of money here. However the new small 5-ft 6 old man security gard which always works nights is USELESS the man follows me everywhere like I'm thieving. there are lots of people in the shop but always follows me EVERYWHERE and the stands so close to my self checkout literally watching me scan every item and has done this the past 5 times I've been there he makes me feel uncomfortable now. YOU ARE WATCHING A GUY WHO DOUBLES YOUR WEEKLY IN COME YOU SILLY MAN and plus he couldn't stop a fruit fly with no wings
Worst Tesco I’ve ever been, everything is so messy and the attention is really poor. Also, I’ve been there and I paid with contactless then leaving the shop the safe guard pushed me into the store and started saying if I want to stole, basically the transaction didn’t go through but I didn’t realise what was happening and returning to the store I presented my card but the way that the safe guard took me in and how started shouting me was not nice at all. I would suggest to going instead to another shop.
I would have liked to give this store a one star however this shop sometime comes in handy as a LAST resort around crouch end so i thought i would show a bit of leniency, but all things aside TESCO has really let there express stores run down to the ground as i can comfortably say independent tiny little corner shops are run better and more proffesionally. Staff are clueless, the shelves are always a complete mess with poor excuses on why there is no stock and so filthy around the self checkout area with the security guard acting on behalf of the manager for whatever reason asking to double check bags and what number to go to. Honest truth i have actually asked on an occasion who the manager on site was with 2 members of staff telling me there not to sure at the moment , what on earth is managment doing here.
