   Libby, Izzy and all the team have welcomed my children with open arms, offering such positive enthusiasm. The lessons are so impressive, the kids have loved learning in such a fun and structured environment. This week was board breaking which even my 4 year old daughter was able to achieve, she was so proud of herself. I would highly recommend trying a class.

   Libby and Izzy do a great job of making the sessions fun and high energy, whilst maintaining discipline and teaching the kids important self defence lessons. We’ve only recently joined, but my two are chomping at the bit to get their first belts and eventually to join black belt club and I love that I’m able to join in too.

   My child is ABSOLUTELY LOVING the classes! I have seen his skills, discipline and self confidence grow since joining (around 7 months ago) whilst making steady progress. As a neurodivergent child, and despite attending other sports clubs, this is the only class that he has enjoyed and continued to attend. He really looks forward to classes! I think that it is a reflection of the wonderful teaching and bonds that Libby and Izzy build with the children. Libby and Izzy are fantastic at keeping the children engaged during class and outside of class (competitions, practice videos etc), communicating effectively and providing guidance, support and courage - meeting children at where they are. This is definitely a teaching approach and environment that my child appreciates and thrives in. I feel that each child is seen as an individual in the classes (whether large or small group). Adjustments during class (use of noise cancelling headphones) for my child’s specific needs have also been welcomed by Libby and Izzy. Thank you!

   My daughter has attended Libby's class for about 18 months now and looks forward to every session. Every week has a different focus - strength, perseverance, self defence. Libby has a fantastically positive outlook and supports every child in her class. She has supported my daughter in refining her form, uplevelling her skills when she is ready to move on. Her patience and enthusiasm have made this class the best I've seen. I would highly recommend this class to anyone wishing to learn martial arts. Only thing that lets this down is all the parents chattering during the class. It gets so loud the children can't hear Libby at times. I do feel sorry for her having to shout over everyone.

   Strike Back Martial arts based in Solihull is an amazing place where children learn sports karate and kick boxing. My two have been going for about 6 months and always look forward to their lessons. Libby, their instructor is absolutely wonderful with all the children and engages very well with each and every child, making it such a fun environment for children to learn. I would absolutely recommend Strike Martial arts to anyone wanting to learn whether they are children or as a family. Plenty of choice of classes around Solihull to suit everyone.

   We found out about Strike Martial Arts via a leaflet in my sons school bag. We decided to try it as we had been looking for something to help improve his focus and attention. In the 4 months he has been attending lessons we have seen a great improvement in both. He is enjoying the lessons and practicing at home. It’s also great seeing his pride and excitement when he gets an award. Libby is an excellent teacher, fun and fair but disciplined and ensures all the children in her class are engaged. Highly recommend the classes.

   We are so glad we signed up with strike martial arts. Libby has given my son so much confidence in himself. She has given tonnes of encouragement to the fact that he now doesn’t hesitate to try new things. The skills he has learnt are useful in everyday life and even the parents can use them. He has made friends outside of school and can’t wait to go to class. Highly recommend these classes for anyone! Five star for definite!

   My 2 girls (5 & 8) love going to Strike with Libby. They have been going for 18 months and are making excellent progress. They both love learning their form and are highly motivated by the belt system. Libby is an outstanding instructor and very welcoming at your first lesson especially when the child may be slightly nervous.
