   I had a deeply distressing and discriminatory experience in this store. From the moment I walked in, I was singled out and followed around by a member of staff. I was doing nothing wrong just shopping. I even told the staff member that I am a mental health patient (I have schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) to try to explain why I might appear anxious, but instead of showing understanding, they treated me with more suspicion. When I was scanning and paying for my items at the self-checkout, multiple staff members including the manager stood over me watching me scan, as if I was a criminal. I was clearly paying for my items. Despite this, security was called and I was physically blocked from leaving the store. I was effectively accused of stealing even though I had done nothing wrong. I was denied the simple right to shop in peace and treated like a suspect purely based on how I looked and behaved. This was humiliating, intimidating, and deeply upsetting especially for someone with mental health conditions. This felt like racial profiling and discrimination. No customer should be followed, watched, and stopped without evidence just because of who they are. Tesco needs to seriously address how its staff treat customers, particularly those from minority backgrounds and those with mental health conditions. I expect an apology and for Tesco to take responsibility for what happened

   Handy Tesco Express – Perfect for Waterloo Commuters & Quick BitesRight across from Waterloo Station and a 2-minute stroll from Lower Marsh, this is one of the best convenience stops in the area.Surprisingly large and well-stocked for an Express: fresh sandwiches, sushi, salads, decent frozen section, drinks, crisps, and all the usual household bits Meal-deal selection is excellent – one of the biggest ranges I’ve seen in a Tesco Express (hot & cold options, plenty of variety) Loads of self-checkouts, so queues move fast even at peak times Always clean, tidy, and the staff are genuinely friendly and quick to help Ideal for train catchers, office workers, or anyone needing a proper meal deal or last-minute essentials near Waterloo. One of the strongest Tesco Express branches around – definitely worth knowing about if you’re ever in the area!

   Directly opposite Waterloo Station, just cross the street and there you have it. OK spot to quickly grab something to eat / snack; big selection of cooled drinks for an affordable price. Staff was relatively nice, security just as grumpy as in any other store in London.

   I was disgusted as to how I was treated at this Tesco. The moment I entered the store, all eyes were on me. An employee came to me, and said "are you alright" and that's fine of course, but he didn't say it to anyone else, he only said it to me as I was under 18. Then, I picked up my items and went to the self service checkouts, where I paid for my items. I opted out in getting a receipt, as I was only purchasing a Fanta and Rich tea. Upon arrival to the store exit/entrance, the same employee stopped me and asked me "did I pay?" I said yes of course, then he requested a receipt. I told him I didn't get one and I told him I paid by card, and showed him the transaction on my notifications. He deliberately targeted me as I was under 18, because he didn't stop anyone else. When I went to the checkouts, he went to the door whilst waiting for me to leave. I have submitted a formal complaint to this Tesco, and hope the matter is addressed with a letter of apology.

   Just across from Waterloo Station and a short walk from Lower Marsh. This Tesco Express has a good food selection, fresh and frozen, drinks, household essentials. Most importantly a large well stocked variety of sandwiches meal deals. It has lots of self checkouts available. Very nice and tidy store. Friendly and helpful staff especially Uncle Drisa & Afsheen.

   The item i baught was scanned and the item i baught still triggered the which then made two staff ego where already outside yo accuse me of staeling meabwhile tge security guard was watching me through out the whole process. The staff here are really incompatant and need to leatn how to interact wiyh customers properly. I dont recommend this tesco

   Go in everyday except weekend I get my lunch salad or pasta they never have cutlery, I'm told to go next door to sainsburys, Sainsburys will not give cutlery unless you buy from there. So from now on I'll be buying my lunch from sainsburys, staff are more friendly. If you Tesco can not supply cutlery then don't sell items that need it

   We've been regular, loyal customers for 3 years and we use your establishment to purchase meal deals everyday. As of recent (since 01/10/2021) I have been utterly shocked to have noticed the lack of crisps available, in particular walkers MAX paprika. The whole section has been demolished and you have continuously failed to restock the crisps on a daily basis. This has led to us making the disastrous decision- we have been left with no choice but to take our business next door (out of respect I will not name the shop). My clubcard is now gathering cobwebs. On one occasion, the lack of variety was so appalling, we almost fainted (both out of shock and lack of nutrients). We will be back to check on the standards of the store everyday to see if appropriate measures have been implemented. If changes have not been made, we will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere and to report to head office of this branch.
