I live next door and it’s a life saver. The staff are always pleasant (for the most of part) and say hello, cause I’m there pretty much everyday. And the security Shav is always friendly and greets me whenever he sees me.

I’m super grateful that there is this Tesco near where I live. I’m particularly satisfied with one of the security guards that looks after the shop. He makes me feel safe to shop at the store and makes sure any issues are taken care of. It’d be great if they can do something about the begger that always sits outside the store that tries to talk to anyone that walks past him.

I just want to say thank you to Dennis who was very helpful today. He took the time to show me how to print a label to return a parcel. He was also very polite and helpful to other customers. Thank you Dennis

I had a great experience at Tesco. There was a wonderful lady called Sarah who was very helpful to me she made my shopping trip very nice. It was great to have a staff member smiling and helpful for once. Will be visiting again.

This is possibly the most unpleasant place to shop in existence. That sounds hyperbolic - it isn't; I mean it. We stopped going in here when they introduced the locked door (which is only opened by a security guard, with loud sirens going off). This is the nearest shop to our house but we actively go to the (much nicer) Sainsbury's up the road. Had to go in here because something was out of stock in Sainsbury's, and I could not actually believe that the shopping experience had managed to get even worse. Almost every item is in a locked box, they've added security screens around the tills, and the guard behaves as if everyone is about to steal something. I appreciate that shoplifting is bad at the moment, and it's the failure of the police (or ultimately the last govt who underfunded policing). However, I think you would be treated with less suspicion visiting inmates in prison! This is a totally crap way to treat customers and surely cannot continue. I really hope people locally vote with their feet, and stop visiting this store. Beyond the Fort Knox characteristics the shop itself is fairly dirty. I am amazed that people still go back. If there is anything positive to be said it's that most of the staff I've ever spoken to here (not security staff, shop staff) are friendly.

I am pretty much sure this is the best Tesco Express branch in London - if not in the whole UK. Great selection of Tesco Finest products, a rather large variety of fruits and vegetables, the team members are always very helpful. Great it’s an EVRI delivery point now as well. Thank you!

Very bad Evri collection point. They always spend ages to find the parcels, sometimes they don't find them... Plus it has been 3 months the Evri printer has been broken

I went to this tesco express to pick up an evri parcel. I was greeted by a lovely tall, young gentleman but after him, it was such an unbelievable experience. I was directed toward the cashier where the manager, barely looking up, named zenaiya demanded a code. Informing him that the guidance is that I need a QR code and can complete the rest of the process in store, he retorted I leave him my phone until the driver arrives?! I was taken aback given I thought I was being polite and courteous and confused as to what prompted such a smart-arse annoyed response. When I tried to resolve the confusion explaining the website said this store didn’t need a print out so maybe the website is incorrect, he started lecturing me about how half of London’s evri printers are not working. Having been patronized, spoken to as if I was a massive inconvenience and dealt with so rudely, I politely replied that I understood and maybe if we started off with this context it then I would know not to speak anymore (as clearly speaking to a customer is very annoying - I would hate to think what the outcome would have been if I was rude or responded with, very much entitled, annoyance and anger at his treatment). Without closing the conversation, he turned back and finished stating his orders to the cashier. When he walked away, Chelsea, clearly having received customer service training from this manager, helped me with other parcels which I needed to collect so didn’t need any printing or help from tescos. There was no politeness or smiles so can’t imagine they boost their customers Friday mornings! When I asked for the name of her colleague, she flatly refused to give it to me as he was her manager?! At a loss and not wanting to spoil my Friday morning, I quietly took a note a note of her name and didn’t not argue back. There must be a reason why the staff wear badges with their names in big letters?! So I don’t think names are meant to be a secret?! I felt intimidated and like the manager would shout at me or start a fight so did not want to approach him - reflecting on this, I can’t imagine this is in the manager training for Tescos? I finally received the packages from the lovely man who I spoke to when I entered, which I am very grateful for as he handed the packaged answering my question of the managers name when asked, used please and thank yous (yes this basic politeness was missing in zeneya and Chelsea), engaged in a polite manner (I wish I took his name as he really was lovely) and smiled and wished me well. The one star I have given is for him
