Will really miss this Tesco Express and many long term nice staff. Closing its doors for good on 17/09/2024 at 4pm.
Absolutely disgraceful service, 3rd world level costumer service. From arriving before closing to put petrol and they closed earlier because it was Sunday and they wanted to go home early to ending up being asked by a black woman that identified herself has area manager,if I was born in this country. Twice!! I wonder what questioning their schedule and the place I was born is related or relevant in any way. Then after questioning about her racism she simply replies. I'm black ,how can I be racist? I guess this is the currently reality of Tesco's.
Just great staff, been coming here for 4 years for petrol and odd bits of shopping, perfectly stocked for what it is, and the staff are always polite and helpful.
I was charged twice for the same item (tesco 8 croissants). I tried to call the store telephone number but to no avail. Recorded message (it is not possible to take your call, please call again later) . Not happy with the service I received.
Bit narrow. But excellent pumps, very high spec. If you can get into pump one you’ll get a big discount on diesel by following this sequence: lift up nozzle, put it back, press ‘pay at machine’, cancel, pick up nozzle, then select ‘pay at kiosk’, insert nozzle in vehicle, wave apologetically to person waiting behind, start pumping, pause and resume 36 times, keep waving and/or shrugging to driver behind, finish pumping, then go inside and pay. You’ll be amazed at the price one way or another.
Been using this garage to fill up petrol and Tesco store for years. The staff definitely make this place, really lovely, the guys are always helpful smiley and polite. Only downside are the store looks like it could do with a really deep clean. The hours changed which meant as a shiftworker I'm not always able to use it now as it is closed! The garage is tight in terms of space both inside and out. I mostly went here for the price of petrol and the service.
The whole place needs a really good clean. I somehow think the staff could be quite a bit faster as well if they were focussed on their jobs. The prices are better than the new Sainsbury however I still think that I would rather shop there as service and general store cleanliness is much better. The range however is good.
