Great place to learn BJJ from top coaches. Kids/fundamentals/Advanced. Bonus of the gym next-door. Toilets, shower and changing facilities. Good atmosphere and very welcoming.
Great instructors.Great environment for training fitness and discipline. Sean Smith has proven great as he has many British champions under his tutoring. Everyone is nice and are willing to help each other out, there's no out of place awkwardness as a new starter. Highly recommended!
Absolutely awesome place. Everyone is lovely, friendly, polite and will take time to show you new techniques and tips to help you improve on either your Thai boxing or Jiu-jitsu. I've trained at regular gyms before but never had an experience like this. Just throw yourself into it, turn up, smile, get on with your training and you'll have a fantastic experience. Sean and the team are excellent and incredibly knowledgeable, would recommend UMA to anyone.

I have been learning Muay Thai at UMA for 10 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The teaching is superb, focused on building solid foundations as the basis for the more advanced techniques which are taught. Classes are a great mix of fitness/pad work/bag work/sparring and the atmosphere is supportive and fun. I can definitely recommend UMA as a place for new or experienced students looking to practice Muay Thai.
When I decided to take up BJJ I researched many academies. I was recommended to UMA by a few people I knew. The academy is so welcoming and it’s like a family. The classes are professional and taught very well. They are also really good value for money for the time and knowledge we are given
Professional Venue with great instructors who definitely know their stuff. My two girls (age 7 and 10) have been doing Thai boxing for years and really enjoy their training. Nice community of people who look to help each other get better.
