   The staff in this store are appalling for those working in a customer service role. Quite clearly none of them want to be there and it feels as though they take this out on the customers, I've seen pleasant young staff come and go from here yet it's the maungy middle aged women than unfortunately remain. They are entirely unhelpful and have a shockingly unapproachable demeanor. All the different stores on Fox Valley have pleasant staff and this place is like a miserable omen that you try to avoid. And imagine refusing to serve a 30 year old with Paracetamol because apparently they look under 16, ridiculous.

   Re Fox Valley, Stocksbridge store. Twice now I have visited at 5.50pm to collect an order and they have been closed, despite the website and the notice on their doors showing 6pm as the closing times. The security gates were across inside. I struggle to get any earlier in the week, but should be able to access the store at 10 to 6. The staff, one was filling shelves and the othrr one was 'cashing up' or whatever it's called and they ignored me knocking hard on the doors. This is disgraceful. I called after posting this review and Charlotte the Manager had been expecting me to call again for my click and collect order. She assured me that they had still been open but you have to push hard on the left hand side automatic door to get it open. I hadn't pushed the heavy doors hard enough as they are labelled as automatic. Lesson learned and I appreciate Charlotte making the effort to look out for me calling back again.

   i shop here quite a lot and the service is always brilliant, as is the cleanliness of the shop and customer service. i’ve never encountered rude staff as the other reviews say, so either i’m a one off (despite shopping here a lot) or people seem to forget that service workers are only human and will end up tired and a little less energetic after long, long shifts. the meal deals are quite nice too, always come here when in need of makeup or hair care

   I went into this store yesterday, when I got to the checkout and presented my (very old) Advantage card, the cashier, a lovely girl called Charlotte, asked if I had loaded all of my offers as some were relevant to the things that I was buying. I have the app but have never used it. When I told her this, she asked if I wanted any help to load them and showed me how to do it in the app. Charlotte saved me money on this shopping trip and sorted out extra points that I would have missed out on. She is very helpful and polite and her product knowledge is brilliant.

   Went to buy some face cream, a young assistant came accorss and told me not to open the box and damage it as couldn't re sell it. How rude for her to assume I WOULD damage the box! Why didn't she offer to assist me of my quest to see how big the jar was, instead she told me the jar is the same size as the box. On that note I went ahead and carefully open the box to fund the jar a tad smaller! I've worked in retail and would definitely not treat a customer like this.

   Was doing some shopping for elderly uncle who is shielding. He always keeps some day nurse in but was running low. Asked for some over counter, got 101 questions told them why he has it and was refused the product. He's been having this for years, he's 80. Never had a issue getting it from anywhere else .
