   I couldn’t rate Penistone Pharmacy any higher. They’re beyond exceptional in their care, service and dedication to the community. My son is on a mix of prescription milk, which keeps being changed by the manufacturer, and medication which I really struggled to get into him due to the nasty taste. When I asked the GP if they did a tasteless version she laughed at me… low and behold, Penistone pharmacy were able to source me the same medication without the nasty taste meaning my son now takes it all without screaming the house down about it. They have gone over and above to make sure my son gets his milk. I have now been to 4 different pharmacies for this and each have given up. But Penistone haven’t and they keep me so Informed as to what’s going on with it too. The service when you go in is exemplary and the delivery driver who brings our delivery every Friday without fail is the nicest man. An absolute asset to our community. Thank you for all that you do.

   Having moved to Penistone in the last few months, I needed to find a new pharmacy, which isn't something I was looking forward to (I've mostly had stressful experiences with pharmacies elsewhere when it comes to getting my monthly medication, prescribed for a long-term health condition). Ever since the first time I spoke with the team at Penistone Pharmacy, they've been nothing short of amazing! They've gone above and beyond in dealing with some of the admin I find hard to do, they've kept in regular contact, they've made helpful suggestions, they've saved me money... and they've done it all with compassion and friendliness! I genuinely cannot praise this place enough and am very happy to have found them.

   Been using this Pharmacy for the last two and half years. I have found the staff friendly and helpful. Recently I was not able to collect a prescription in person as I was housebound through a foot issue and phoned them and explained, at this point they mentioned they do a free delivery service and would deliver the tablets. I was really surprised at this and excepted the offer as the tablets were well needed and arrived within two hours fantastic service. I am really happy with the service and will be using them as long as needed. Keep up the good work.

They offer a wide range of services and by offering flu jabs and Covid jabs they take the pressure off the doctors surgeries and help people who have no means of transportation living in our rural area.    Probably the worst experience of a pharmacy ever. A few months ago we started using Well Penistone for their repeat prescription order service for our infant son's medication. Since then we have experienced lost prescriptions, prescriptions not ready when we were told they would be and incorrect items ordered. The service is really slow and there is no urgency or apology when they make a mistake. The icing on the cake was today when we went to collect a prescription we were told would be ready three days ago. They couldn't find it and told us it hadn't been received from the doctor. We went to the doctors who told us that it had been sent. Went back to the pharmacy and they had found it. Safe to say we've cancelled the service and have taken our prescriptions elsewhere. One of the five star reviews below is from an employee.
