   Rude staff. I asked the staff to make a pizza exactly as it was, but it was two days old and had today's expiration date. The lady smiled shyly and asked why I needed fresh pizza when it still had today's expiration date. I argued that I wanted a fresh pizza with a longer expiration date that I didn't need to eat today. I also pointed out that they often sell yesterday's bread, so why should I pay the same price as for fresh produce? The lady continued to insist. I didn't argue with her further and left. If the store's policy is to sell stale products, I won't shop there again.

   The store itself is lovely and well stocked considering its size. Had bad customer experience back early June from a female member of staff at the parcel counter. Completely ignored me chatting to a customer in front of me about personal matters. It was obvious they knew each other as they discussed their children’s progress , schools etc among other things. This went on for while till I was served by another member of staff as the two continued chatting . No Appology . Appalling service!

   Best thing about this Asda is that it has a free 90 minute car park, so you can park up and shop in Strood. The shop itself is more a metro-sized supermarket, and so I ended up going to another Asda afterwards. This Asda was just not large enough to have the range of products I wanted. It was nice that they had plenty of self-service checkouts. So, no long waits.

   Three weeks ago I entered this store for some basic shopping. I parked my car for an hour. Two weeks later, I received a letter from Parking Eye telling me that I had stayed there for two hours and the consequences were that I should pay a fine of £60. There was no parking ticket on the windscreen. I have tried to communicate by email with Parking Eye about this, but I have received an unhelpful response. Apparently, I have to take the matter up directly with Asda. Further communication by telephone with Parking Eye has been useless as the phone is never picked up. I will make a further effort to discuss this in person with Asda. Overall, the parking situation seems to be generally difficult.

   You never find 1kg clover or 1kg butter pack as they only bring 500gm and 250gm and sell at full price. Never find asda essential eggs anymore . Ktc sunflower oil 5L is 8.95 in strood store while 8.5 on their website. This store is ripoff their website price is lower than strood store price.

   This is one of the best Asdas I’ve been in and I think they have great options to choose from yes it is small but is no different to a normal Asda. The only negative thing is the self checkout the majority is self checkout and only a few tills

   Some items are quite pricey but some are quite inexpensive. Some things can be bought on offer and there are a few sections where you can buy reduced items. Lots of food, drink and alcohol to choose from and I discovered a home section today which stocks pans, bulbs, stationary and other useful items. Store is clean and staff and kind and helpful.
