Hi Justin has been part of our lives for so long as both of my children showed an interest in karate, my son got his black and white belt and my daughter is currently on her red and white. I would not send them to any other club, young gloves trains them in the art of karate to a high level but the club goes further than that, Justin is head of the young gloves family and each and every parent and child gets welcomed and treated like a family member. Your child will thank you for encouraging them to join learn s new skill and meet a load of new friends. This club is for everyone and everybody is welcome my daughter is profoundly deaf but Justin snd Matt have encouraged her so much and have gone to so much effort to incorporate Mia in to each lesson whilst also treating her the same as all the other children. As parents we are proud of both of our children and excited to see how far Mia will go in her karate journey. Thanks Justin and Matt see you soon x

Great friendly club. My two kids have been going for over ten years and in that time they have grown in confidence and ability. The club is run in a way that builds confidence, promotes teamwork and self belief. Everyone is welcome, all ages and abilities. Canβt recommend enough!

Highly recommend!!! Young gloves karate is such a fantastic club for my son. Family run, friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices with no contracts and lots of fun all year round. The children display such skill its incredible and my son is going from strength to strength with the club. We also raise money for a different charity each year. Families are invited to take part in various activities and events throughout the year. Young gloves are an inclusive club who welcome all with welcome arms and also run a class at leapgate disability centre to give opportunities to individuals who may not be able to attend the other classes. Inclusive, welcoming, reasonable and all round fantastic club! Im so glad my son joined in 2019!

My 7 year old daughter has been a part of the club for 3 years and absolutely loves it. It has given her so much confidence, resilience and she has made some lovely friends. Justin is a great Sensei and a brilliant role model for the children. Would definitely recommend this club.

Kids have been to Young Gloves since they were nippers and they've learned a lot not only karate but the discipline has helped them mature and they've made some good friends on the way. The social aspect is really good you do feel part of a big family and it's nice to support not only each other but the charities who benefit from the competitions Younggloves run with the donations going to locals in need. Great club well run and a big help to everyone.

I've given a middle review because while my son did attend he enjoyed it, however it was short lived. After buying the uniform and paying a fee for my son to train as well as the fee for the lessons Young gloves stopped using the school venue and said we were welcome to travel to the next town and take part in the glasses there but its not that simple to do. We are talking a few years ago so hopefully they won't or have not done this since. Edit due to response. My son did 3 possibly 4 lessons before you moved, surely you would of been aware of the venue prices changing as notice would have been given (I work there so I can always check this) and you should not of taken anymore on or at least given people pre warning on sign up instead we paid Β£70 + then lesson costs before you moved. I was not the only one left in this situation.

Young gloves is an amazing club. My kids (now aged 6) and I started training there about a year ago and absolutely love it. I am amazed how quickly we have all developed, both personally and as martial artists, in only a year. And that is thanks to dedication and enthusiasm of the instructors at young gloves. It is also thanks to the other members who offer just as much support. I can't recommend this club enough.

Have known and trained with Justin for many years and he's done a great job to make Young Gloves a really supportive, family friendly club. No monthly fees so you can work to your own budget and superb instructors helping him out at all the local venues. They are all very patient but firm so the kids have a lot of fun but also know the expectations. Good community spirit too, I went to a knife awareness course they did with the police, really eye opening and good to see they were thinking outside the box. They really go the extra mile with those workshops, the Kickboxing for fitness, and all the charity work too. No surprise they keep winning in the local press and radio award evenings! Well done Justin and Young Gloves.
