This place…really unhygienic. We went in today 16-07-23 and picked up a Fanta lemon but noticed some dirty stuff round the opening so I went and grabbed another one….and as you can see he’s quite covered in mould. Stupidly picked up a packet of sweets and noticed when I got home they are 2 months out of date also. So…that’s nice…needs a really good clean in there and maybe time to check the dates on some products. Absolutely wild it’s still open tbh.

Ordered from this shop on 22/01/23, 2 milks, bread, oil, and a bottle of Pepsi, through just eat. On 24/01/23, My wife and I ate a meal and poured a glass of Pepsi which tasted funny I checked the date it was dated 03-10-21. So my wife raised a complaint with Just eat who said they could not refund the money as it was over 24 hours after the order, so I called the Baba store via telephone and spoke to a man and explained the Pepsi was out of date and that just eat won't refund to us and if there was any chance of getting an exchange. His answer was 'ours are dated 2023' to which I said 'okay fine mistakes happen and maybe you sent us an old batch but can you either exchange or refund'. This went on for a while as he refused any liability even tried to blame the driver saying maybe he switched it. I was shocked because no one would try to complain over couple quid and try to hustle you to get another Pepsi or why would the driver do that...what's crazy is that the shop keeper said I can't leave the shop to do the drop yet they are taking delivery's via 'Just eat' so I said okay I will come another day or you can drop it off. The man did not want to take any liability so he said just talk to the boss giving me a fake number when tried to call him back there was no answer, I tried afew times he blatantly blanked my calls. I know its just a bottle of Pepsi but I paid for it, it was out of date, and on top I drank it unknowingly.
WILL NOT BE USING THIS SHOP AGAIN AS THEY ARE CHEAP SKATES WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND SELL OLD STOCK WHICH THEY TRY SEND VIA JUST EAT AS YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. AVOID THIS SHOP AS THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. Would give 0 stars if I could for the bad experience I have received and the response I was given.

I got this drink 2 days ago from the shop. Its almost 2 years expired, the shop owner denied it was from there and would not accept that they gave out of date drinks. Became very defensive and would not accept liability. Poor poor service. Disgusting.

A bit strange, the first time I went (3 days ago), the minimum charge for card payment was £3.00, but today it was £5. A bit unfair really. Otherwise products are of good quality.
