I really like that shop, but I always check the price on Google. If it’s actually the best price, I buy it there. Otherwise, I order online. Sorry, but if it’s cheaper online, I’ll buy it there. They have a great selection of good-quality home products.
Walked in today 27th November roughly 9:30am, no greeting, just a staff member stood at the back of the store leaning on boxes staring in to space, i walked around to see if i would be acknowledged but nothing. Another staff member would then come in with food and drinks, they both go out back with no staff on the shopfloor, the lady then comes back on the shop floor and answers the phone to the york store, at this point there is a customer at the till, she stays on the phone and the customer leaves, the guy then brings some hot pastry on the shop floor, which she bites and put the rest of the food on top of the stock on the shop floor, the guy then fixes her hair behind her ear (very strange behaviour) then goes back out back, i wanted to ask questions about there stock but couldnt get anyone to notice me, no wonder people buy online when service is that shocking in store.
Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable and the manager was great in assisting us with the one things we wanted. As hard as it was for her she sorted it for us! Superb shop.
I went in today with my wife to get an iron. We were greeted by Lynn and Gabby. They were very friendly and full of knowledge about the products they sell. The pair of them are a fantastic asset to your company and worth their weight in gold. Left feeling a very happy customer. Thank you both
