   My wife and I would like to compliment Tristan and his colleague for a fantastic service recently when we purchased a bespoke size mattress. From calling at the Bed Store in Chester, placing an order and having it delivered - took two days. Unbelievable service, courteous and with a smile. We would highly recommend this company.    The owner of this establishment demonstrates a significant lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills, which raises concerns about his ability to run a business effectively. My mother has experienced two separate incidents involving poor customer service, both of which could have been easily avoided with better handling. The owner is particularly unreasonable when it comes to refunds, even for items still in their original packaging and well within the return window. His approach to customers is shockingly unprofessional, and his manner of communication leaves much to be desired. As a result of these experiences, I have advised my mother not to continue supporting this local business. It is disappointing that we were issued a store credit instead of a refund to the original payment method, which only compounds the frustration. While I understand that everyone has off days, the owner has consistently demonstrated a pattern of poor/bad attitude. I feel obligated to share our experience and caution others against patronizing this establishment. Consider exploring other options. *edited since reply with my reply to owner* The legal minimum return period is two weeks, while the industry standard typically allows 30 days for returns. My mother, acting on behalf of a family member, was only informed two weeks after the purchase that the item in question was not suitable. Although this timing may not be ideal, we are well within our rights to request a refund, and we expect this to be handled without undue judgment. As the item remains in its original packaging, there should be no issue processing a refund to the original payment method, as we do not wish to receive a store credit. Furthermore, I find your remarks both unprofessional and inappropriate. When you stated, "I will know if it’s been opened," it came across as rude. Additionally, in response to our concern about possibly not being able to return the item today, your reply, "well, that's another day," was dismissive and unhelpful.

   I can't fault the service I received when I purchased my new bed. They had exactly what I was looking for so it was ordered and delivered on time and the friendly delivery guys even put it together for me. I can highly recommend The Bed Store if your looking for a good quality bed at a reasonable price.

   Just had a fantastic shopping experience we visited The Bed Store and received excellent knowledgeable service at a fantastic price...purchased a beautiful comfortable Divan Bed with matching headboard and mattress. Delivery was prompt and efficient..if you are ready for a new sleep experience I would high recommend the Bed Store Chester for great service and value

   I'm typing this review having just woken up from sleeping on a matress bought here and can say the matress is very comfy. Before buying this I went to most if not all of the major bed retailers on Sealand Road, Chester looking at beds/matresses...the prices were shocking. So tried the Bedstore in Saltney. Great experience, Tristan the owner was very helpful, helped me pick a matress, no sales pressure, free delivery within a couple of days (the Sealand road retailers were saying 7-10 working days) and cheaper than those too.

   I’ve been to this place 3 times in the past week. There is NEVER anybody there. 12pm, again at 1pm on a different day and same again today at 1pm. There is a number on the door to ring, but I wanted a bed there and then. I’ve since gone to dreams in Chester.

   I have recently purchased a King size, velvet ottoman bed with a mattress, delivered, installed and all the rubbish removed by the lovely and friendly Paul, I would highly recommend this company, and they also have a good range of options to suit all.
