Will always recommend what’s best for you as a skater in comparison to other skate shops who want you to purchase the most expensive items even if they won’t be right for you.

   I went to Sheffield for a competition. While there I had Lee at Ice Locker Sheffield look over my blade. I recently found out it was curved and making skating more difficult. Lee spotted the issue immediately and fixed it on the spot. He also sharpened my skates while there. The best sharpening and customer service I have ever experienced from a skate shop!

   Visited for the first time today to get my daughter some new skates as what we thought her old ones were getting too small. Turns out they're not too small just wasn't wearing them properly. Was given good advice on how to fasten them etc and which skates would be good for her for the next level. Didn't leave with new skates, just sharpened the old ones. They could have let us spend our money for no reason, just given good advice instead. Thank you.

   Took my figure skates to be punched. After the staff member told me I should be in a lower level boot (he's never seen me skate???), that the shop I bought them from ripped me off, and was generally condescending, he punched the boots without marking out the problem points because "they're always in the same place". Two attempts later and he still hadn't got it right. I said thanks and took my boots off before they were butchered any further. Now I've got random bulges all over my £330 boots and what looks like a slight bit of delamination where he punched without heating. Thanks.

   Staff extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. I have travelled from South to visit this store and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my figure skates. Definitely hats off to this shop, amazing stock and going above and beyond to assist. Excellent customer service and knowledge. Definitely need to visit if you have any queries about ice hockey or figure skates.

   I visited the Sheffield Store on Wednesday 2 March and was welcomed by Lee & Jake. I initially went in for some guidance on blades. Lee dealt with us and talked us through what he could see with my daughters current skates. He allowed my daughter to try on different brands and styles, encouraged her to walk around till she felt comfortable. He spoke directly to my daughter and never over her. He never tried to hard sell or change anything about himself when I said we would think about it. He was the same from start to finish and was amazing. Jake was also very welcoming and helpful while serving other customers. I am happy to say that we did purchase new boots and blades and had a 5 * service. Keep up the great work guys. We will most definitely be back anytime we are down.
