   My daughter (8 yrs) has been with NFD for nearly 2 years now and it has been such a great experience. In this time she has auditioned for Films, TV series and Adverts as well as being given the opportunity to film for NFD YouTube channel “Platform 2C”. Attending the agency has given my daughter onset experience, script work each week, and also filming monologues. The agency will help you get Spotlight registered, arrange head shots etc. Alyson and the whole team at NFD have been so welcoming and informative we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the industry.

   I've been part of NFD for over 3 years and have learnt techniques specifically geared towards working in TV & Film. With the films we have produced real experience of life on set first hand which I've not heard of anywhere else. This has given me massive amounts of confidence for auditions and I now fully appreciate what's involved and I'm just as determined and excited to be an actor.

   I joined Northern Film & Drama a few years ago. I did not expect that my hobby is going to turn me to be absolutely passionate about acting. They are a very hard working and professional people. They gave me a lot of advice and training. I appeared in 2 films with them and I realized how it is on a real set. So far I learned a lot about filming and acting. As English is not my first language they helped me to work on my diction and I massively improved. I would strongly recommend Northern Film & Drama for anyone who would like to have some proper training and also great fun surrounded by amazing people.

   I joined NFD to learn about TV & Film acting as I had realised it was a different skill to stage acting. What I love most about NFD is that they work very hard for themselves and their students. They work hard to train their students and to provide real opportunities for them through making feature and short films which can be seen by professionals in the industry. They have an abundance to offer and provide top training for students, and are clearly very contemporary with a great vision and hunger for success. This is what I would tell any person looking into joining NFD.

   My son James absolutely loves it at NFD (Northern Film and Drama) and has made many new friends. He had been saying for sometime that he wanted to be a TV presenter like Ant and Dec. After much research NFD appeared to be the right choice, to help him on a path to make his dream come true. He started in January earlier this year. At his primary school he recently auditioned for the parts of Ant and Dec for their Christmas show. He was thrilled to get the part of Ant to host the show. Many parents, teachers and fellow students made a point of saying how amazing he was. NFD was certainly the right choice. They put in so much hard work, not only at classes but behind the scenes too. Thank You.
