   I hosted a baby shower here at the Living Room Place and I have to say, this venue was just perfect! It was literally such a cosy environment - then fill it with people you love = superb vibes. Loved the concept of the two floors, downstairs has a kitchenette, so we had our food downstairs. It was also the quieter area for the younger ones. Everything one could possibly need was there- with regards to cleaning up, which was a big help! The owner, James, was very helpful and informative, great communication all the way. I would highly recommend this venue and use it again for other events!

   I used The Living Room Place for my baby shower and it was perfect for an intimate celebration. It had everything I needed, and James was fantastic with communication. He provided clear information about the facilities and answered any questions I had, which made the whole booking process really smooth. I loved having access to both floors and the blank-canvas feel, which made decorating really easy. The only small suggestion I’d make is to air the space out beforehand or perhaps use a plug-in freshener, as it was a bit stuffy when we first arrived. We opened the doors while setting up to let air in. Overall, I would definitely hire this venue again!

   This is the second time we have used the venue. We used it for a birthday dinner a few years ago and recently a baby shower for about 18 people. It’s a lovely intimate space, clean with all the amenities needed. Has upstairs and downstairs mini living room open plan area. I would definitely recommend and use again. Decent rate with independent and easy instructions to gain access. Space also comes with tables and chairs inclusive in the hire. Thank you James for your correspondence.

   A really great venue for intimate events where you need abit more space than your home can provide. I hired the venue for my sister in laws baby shower, it's great to have a blank canvas where you can put your stamp on it with decorations, balloons etc. The process of booking was very smooth and straight forward, good communication with the owner throughout. Cost to hire the venue was very reasonable too. I would recommend the living room for anyone organising an event and without hesitation I would definitely use it again.

   Hired the living room place for my sister's hen do. It was perfect for us - we arranged pottery painting which was set up on the ground floor, using the tables and chairs. We were then able to decorate the downstairs for games, drinks and nibbles for later on. It was ideal as a lot of the attendees had small babies, so other halves were able to hang around / pop in and out with the babies, but not get in the way! Worked perfectly for what we wanted. Booking was easy and all the instructions very clear. Would definitely book again in future for another event.

   I recently rented the Living Room for a thanksgiving dinner and it was perfect!! Spacious, warm, conveniently located and stocked with all the equipment I needed - this is exactly the sort of location I’ve been looking for to host dinner parties. The only downside was having to leave in somewhat of a rush at 11pm when people were still chatting and eating, but if you were to book the place earlier and for longer this wouldn’t be an issue. Would absolutely recommend it and will be back!
