Great lido especially on a warm day, however the disabled toilet lock is broken and overall run down. I feel there should be individual showers, not keen on the open ones. It feels expensive for a swim session especially when the facilities could be better, overall needs more improvement.

Brockwell lido is so good. The pool is fresh and nice, sometimes the ducks come swimming. The gym is ok, however a lot of the equipment is broken so that’s why it gets 3 stars.

I have been a member since 2021. I love the community and it’s the only nearby leisure centre to me, but since joining the situation at the lido has gone from bad to worse. Fusion (lido service provider) are taking advantage of the community, running our local lido into the ground. The centre is dirty, smells of sewage, and there are flies all over the spa area. it is completely unhygienic & unsafe. In female locker rooms, only about half the lockers actually work. It is similar for the Men's. gym equipment is in dire straits, with people queuing to use the stair master and treadmills, as about 80% of gym equipment doesn't work. the spa is one of the dirtiest areas, and the steam room has only been operational about 50% of the time since 2021. the hydrotherapy pool has not been operational since 2022, and remains unclean/with dirty water lingering at the bottom (see photos taken June 25th). the pool reportedly has a leak, and is often very dirty. the situation at the lido is getting out of hand. it is a profitable centre but it is being run to the ground, at the detriment of our community and members. The staff are all amazing and hold the whole place together. It makes me sad that they have to work under pitiful conditions that could be avoided if the centre was run for the community, not profit.

Lovely local lido that needs some investment in the facilities. Be warned the outdoor pool is not heated. The new sauna pods are a good addition. Changing rooms could be cleaned and wiped down more frequently. Pound coin need for lockers outside. Cafe onsite. Can buy tickets on the Fusion app in advance £8 for a 50min swim session.

Brockwell Lido is on the corner of Brockwell Park just off Dulwich Road; the lido has been a much-loved local landmark at the heart of the Brixton community since 1937. I enjoy visiting new places to swim; I had wanted to visit Brockwell Lido for some time; I like trying to combine a trip somewhere with a swim; I was working in London, so I took the opportunity to visit. I travelled from my home in Hampshire on the train; I then took a taxi directly to the lido; I don't recommend doing this; getting a cab back into London after my swim was expensive and complicated. As a disabled person, I don't enjoy using the underground; it makes me anxious. Not all underground stations are accessible either; I don't know London well, which doesn't help either. The Victoria Line is the last Tube to Brockwell Lido in Herne Hill; it's worth checking. I may need to be corrected. There is limited parking outside the lido, with some disabled parking bays. I visited in the winter on a bright but cold day. The lido is not heated; you can wear a wetsuit in the winter months if you wish. Before my swim, I found a place to get changed on the floor. There is a changing room; however, as an amputee, getting myself sorted closer to the pool is much easier. There is a hoist to get disabled users in and out of the water; it's worth asking beforehand if it's available. The water was cold during my swim, but I found the water to be clean, and the visibility was perfect. Although I didn't use it, there is a cafe in the lido called The Four Hundred Rabbits; I couldn't find their details on the pool website. It looks well worth checking out. Brixton is incredibly lucky to have Brockwell Lido; I wish we had one closer to where I live. It's a fantastic place to visit.

Great lido that Fusion Leisure are running into the ground. The pool is beautiful and huge, staff are really friendly. Pool is always closed last minute because of various technical/staffing issues. Facilities always broken with seemingly little motivation to fix them, outside showers have been broken for about 2 months now? Always dirty because fusion don't seem to hire cleaners and expect reception or lifeguards to clean on what is just about living wage (which they were basically forced into paying)

Im so glad and lucky to a nice lido so close to me to do my 30 day swim challenge through the winter. The gym is a nice and spacious aswel. My only criticism is i wish the pool side changing room were as nice as the gym side. Thanks all :)

Love this place! I have been going here all my life and I have made so many fond memories here. The classes are fantastic and the gym has a variety of machines for all abilities. Cant forget the pool either... if you're brave enough to brace the cold its a fantastic experience.

Regular attendee, Lido is okay.. The gym facilities have seen better days. Combination of vandalism, plus the gym not receiving regular upkeep.. I don't know if it's a Fusion lifestyle issue, or general management. For example, the lockers in the men's are degraded badly and are barely usable. I went to have a shower the other day, and there was still an old plaster in there from the last time I used it. Peoples lack of cleanliness is bothersome.. I know its not easy with upkeep, but it's one of these places that would be sorely missed if not in the community.. Wonder if it would fare better in the hands of better gyms..
