I regret to say my experience with Pearcelegal was disappointing. In a conveyancing matter, the service felt both incompetent and unprofessional. As others have noted, dealing with Tony Lynch was difficult – he came across as dismissive and lacking in basic client care. My case was passed between multiple staff members, yet there was little communication between them. This left me chasing updates and correcting mistakes, a stark contrast to my purchase conveyancer elsewhere who was courteous, efficient, and professional. Separately, I witnessed behaviour from one solicitor that I found deeply troubling. Her behaviour toward a vulnerable individual, in my opinion, fell short of the basic standards of care and responsibility expected of solicitors, and when it results in a child’s welfare being impacted, it is very concerning. Sadly, advice given to an already vulnerable person pushed them into a distressing debt situation. It's sad when a solicitor is prepared to behave in this manner which in my view, breaches basic standards. For a firm that advertises trust and integrity, my experience was the opposite. I would strongly advise others to steer well clear of this firm.

I recently sold my property, and the entire process was completed within an impressively short timeframe — just about a month — thanks to the exceptional service provided by my solicitor, Tahira. From the beginning, she made me feel like a priority despite how busy she must have been. Her communication was always clear, timely and reassuring. I was quite nervous at times, but her calm and confident manner really helped put me at ease. One standout example of her professionalism was when the buyer’s solicitor proposed abortive costs. My estate agent initially suggested I simply accept them, but Tahira carefully reviewed everything and pushed back to ensure the position aligned with the agreed Heads of Terms. She stood firm, protected my interests and made sure the correct process was followed. She was consistently thorough, diligent and clearly took ownership of the entire transaction. I felt supported throughout, and I’m genuinely grateful for her hard work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tahira and the firm to anyone looking for an excellent conveyancing solicitor.

We had an unnecessarily stressful first time buyer experience with Pearce Legal. The conveyancing team were continuously flying by the seat of their pants - they checked nothing and did nothing in advance. For example; 1 - They did not check the documents we had completed and signed until the day of exchange. We had signed one in the wrong place, creating a last minute panic to resolve. 2 - They did not check the deposit amount we sent them 1 week in advance of completion, until the day of completion, when we were on our way to the property. Mark spent a couple of hours insisting that we had sent them £50k less than we had, which created an extreme amount of stress on the day. Once they had checked further, they realised that they had in fact received all the money from us, and there was not a £50k black hole. These were 2 stand out moments of failure. Aside from this, their communication was never proactive, creating lots of admin our side to chase them on matters which we had no knowledge of as FTBs. I've given 2 stars because, to be fair, we did actually get there and complete the sale eventually. I just wish we'd have done it with someone else.

Pearce Legal have acted for us for multiple matters over the last few years, and have acted with professionalism and credibility throughout. A drawn-out and complex litigation matter, spanning from 2021-2025, was resolved favourably in difficult circumstances by Nick Thomas. He remained both reliable and extremely knowledgable throughout, and was invaluable to bringing the litigation element of the matter to a close. After reaching a settlement, Tahira Khan assisted us with associated conveyancing. She acted with immense professionalism and brought stability to a very difficult and complex set of transactions, all whilst being communicative throughout. I would highly recommend the services Pearce Legal - both in litigation and conveyancing, as well as for complex matters and transactions.

I've used Pearce Legal twice for conveyancing - the first time on a house purchase as FTBs, and the second for both a sale and purchase, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Solihull area. Sam Keefe acted for me on both occasions and was fantastic at keeping things progressing smoothly and keeping me informed, and on both occasions the whole house buying/selling process was completed quickly thanks to his work.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Nicholas Thomas on a franchise agreement. From start to finish he listened to our needs as a company and gave expert advice. He provided a hassle free service and he's also a lovely chap to deal with. A very well deserved five stars. Thank you.

Our buyers used this solicitor. They were frustrating to say the least, didn't respond to queries or messages left, had to be continually chased by our solicitors and the estate agents. Gave the distinct impression they didn't know what they were doing!!!!

Recently finished using Pearce Legal after buying our first home. Very glad to be finished dealing with them. However, we didn’t have to deal with them much as their communication was very poor to say the least. We were lucky that the person we were buying off would inform us of what stage we were at as their solicitors seemed keen to support their client. On the last day for example we were told 2 hours before having contact from Pearce Legal that we had officially completed and were now homeowners. We were also contacted by a random person on the day from the company who we had never dealt with before. When signing up to Pearce Legal we were given access to their app that looked great and had a fantastic progress section so you can follow what’s happening as it happens. Don’t be fooled by this it never got used. Process started around the end of September, last updated October 14th we have just finalised the purchase almost 2 months later with no update since the 14th. So, if you’re looking for a solicitor who barely talks to you, doesn’t ever update their app, you have to chase for information to move the process forward, gets rude and blunt when you do finally talk to them (my experience not my partners). Then Pearce Legal is the one for you!! If however you would assume a very basic level of communication would be provided please don’t use them. We were first time buyers, very excited but obviously very naive potentially. They made the whole experience which I’m sure is very stressful anyway, really difficult and unfortunately a lot less enjoyable than I imagine buying your first home should be. Disappointing. If I could give 0 stars I would.

We recently made our first ever house purchase through Pearcelegal. In a ridiculously busy time for the industry having a conveyancing solicitor you can trust is invaluable. My experience with Pearcelegal was genuinely faultless. Sam Keefe is an absolute credit to the firm, kept us well informed throughout and had patience with us as first time buyers having plenty of questions. We were able to complete in 10 weeks (including the Christmas holidays) and were amazed. Thanks to Mark, Carol and Laura too. We would not hesitate to engage Pearce legal again in future. Thanks all.

I know of Pearcelegal as I work with them through my business so when I purchased my house they were the natural choice (although when working with people you know through business it’s a little worrying incase anything goes wrong). Due to something unavoidable, I was passed to another solicitor but Elaine picked up my case and was extremely professional and on the ball to get my exchange and completion done on time. I had very inflexible vendors with unrealistic expectations however, they were met on time and everything went to plan. I have no idea how as the timelines were very tight but I would throughly recommend Pearcelegal for all Conveyancing requirements to anyone buying or selling their house. I was also in Spain during l period, but they made what could have been a very complicated situation, relatively easy. Thank you to the whole team.
