This a fantastic Gymnastic centre with all the equipment needed and coach know how to help your budding gymnastic child to reach their goals. It has a great team spirit. Great parking facilities and excellent parent viewing area.
A few months ago my 7 year old attended her first club competition with diamonds. I was concerned at how this may go as a South Asian family we have had poor experiences with other gymnastics clubs due to certain preferences. I also am aware of other prejudices BAME background families can experience within gymnastics as a general issue. Diamonds however have always been exceptional, all of the teachers and support staff have been wonderful they have been very informative if I ever had any questions. Helen, Rachel and Ben in particular have been wonderful throughout our time here both inside and outside of class. Ellie was also very helpful with an issue we had within a weekly class setting. Diamonds is very much an organised and professional setting. During our competition I was worried about things such as unfair scoring and favouritism. I saw absolutely none of this between my child and other BAME background children versus their white British counterparts. I saw none of this between diamonds and other clubs who attended the events. Even the staff on the door have been very helpful to our family in the past as my husband is disabled and have accommodating with helping him when we needed it once. I am very impressed with the club and I am very glad to be part of the diamonds family. Highly, highly recommend especially to those from other ethnic backgrounds.
Very cliquey amongst the parents, they are rude and make you feel extremely unwelcome. Many times my husband sat in the car instead of on the balcony with the others. Likewise I didn’t like attending but did not make my little girl aware of this. The teachers definitely have favourites and other children were just pushing in front of my little girl and nothing was done about it. My little girl was on the side crying during one session and just left there. We only know this as a grandparent of one of the children in the class told us. This place has completely knocked my little girl’s confidence so much that she wanted to stop going completely. She used to really love gymnastics. This was at Holme field. The facilities were good but that’s about it as far as this place goes. Would completely avoid and not recommend to anyone. Tried contacting the club to discuss but was ignored on numerous occasions. They only respond when money is involved
Amazing club, great coaches and great atmosphere. My daughter improved a lot in her first 7 months at this amazing club, and another year later still improving and made some very good friends.

Coaches are friendly proffesional and good with the kids the gym is always clean the holiday clubs are fab
Daughter has really flourished and her skills are coming along so much. She enjoys every session and the training time flys by for her.
Great facilities, but many of the staff look bored and do not fully engage with the children - preferring to chat amongst themselves. PLEASE NOTE: This observation refers to the Shay Lane club - not the one at Boothtown.
Very well kitted out. Good changing rooms and well organised for lessons. My 4 year old loves his hour long gymnastic session. They allow him to go on any piece of kit under supervision
