Extremely busy hospital, with long waits particularly the eye department. The staff there work none stop. The only complaint from me is the lady at the first information desk on the foyer on ground floor. A perfect misery. No please, thank you and never so much as a smile, which is a shame as everyone else is so pleasant.

I had day surgery at the MOhS Clinic (Green) on the 23/10/25. I have never felt so looked after and cared for by any medical profession as I did by these people. A big shout out to Jay-ann , annmarie and johny for making my day less stressful and being so attentive and caring. You are all a credit to the team. Also to the fabulous theatre staff for being so down to earth and fabulous at what you do. You ALL made my day so much easier . THANK YOU ❤️

Visited the eye department with my 88 year old mum today. What a fantastic department! It looked really busy, but there was a constant flow of patients being attended to. All of the staff were so patient, welcoming and helpful. They made my mum feel reassured and explained what was happening, clearly, and with patience. There was no sense of being rushed and real sense of professionalism and care. Thank you, everyone, for making g the visit stress free and reassuring…

A fantastic little hospital. I have to frequent this place every 3 months and must say is brilliant. A very big and special shout out to everyone at the Rheumatology department who are simply fantastic. ❤️ Exray/scan and ENT are all fantastic as well. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful general hospital. Thank You All Update on parking as I was alarmed that cost has gone up from £1 to £3 for 30 mins parking. Within 20 mins is free, perhaps it needs to be the first 30uns free or better still 1 hour. Does this money go to the hospital or a private company??

I had my operation on the Sanderson Suite and the level of care was fantastic. Staff were professional and caring. Couldn’t find any negatives about my stay and my op was a success. I would highly recommend St Helens hospital Sanderson suite and staff

Yesterday I had a minor op at St Helen’s Hospital. I was greeted by a friendly fella in the atrium how helped with directions to the Sanderson Ward. The staff were all, friendly, professional, thorough. Julie who did my pre op paperwork was patient and kind. Every member of staff that I interacted with were brilliant. The atmosphere was relaxed and efficient. Our fantastic NHS. Thank you.

After attending several hospitals within Liverpool and Knowsley trusts I have got to say this is the best out of the bunch. Always stick to appointment times and don’t leave you waiting for hours. Although staff are equally stretched and stressed they are always friendly and happy to help. Oncology and endoscopy staff are attentive and caring. All have taken excellent care of my grandmother. Great hospital.

Paul, Suzanne and Pam on Endoscopy are brilliant, and also the nurses i seen as i went in and out. All were lovely health professionals. I was treated with dignity and respect throughout my visit. I was made to feel welcome. One of the nicest departments I've been to in any hospital. You all do a brilliant job. Thankyou so much!

No problems with the hospital. There was a receptionist to help if needs. But have been before, just going to the Sanderson suite again. Just doing a drop off so the parking was free as it was within the 20 minutes. Thank you for simple and easy process in helping with my girlfriend’s father.
