   We came to Hype Dance for some private lessons for our wedding first dance. They were quick at getting back in touch and very helpful. We had lesson with Paulina, she was amazing! Made us feel comfortable and even when i was unable to attend because I was ill she made videos and sent them to us so we could practice. Thank you so much Paulina and everyone at Hype xx

   This is the first studio I’ve found that puts as much effort and attention into the adults as it does to the children’s classes. Having grown up dancing before moving to Sheffield, I struggled to find a dance studio that offered everything I needed as an adult… drop in dance lessons with a focus on technique, great choreography, structured content, annual dance shows and additional performance opportunities. Hype was able to offer me all this in a wide range of styles. The atmosphere and people are all great too!!

   I have used hype dance in a number of ways; classes, tuition and studio hire and it is great. The teachers are friendly and welcoming in classes and the choreography is always engaging. I have recently attended the choreo classes with Paulina. She has incredible musicality and she teaches choreo in a way that lets a mixture of abilities explore their own, to a really great selection of music. The classes are drop in style, but in all the ones I have attended I see the same faces again and again, which speaks for itself in terms of the community atmosphere!

   There was no one at the reception, no one explained anything (like where to wait, go, the terminology in the class, etc.) and the choreography was packed with different steps, so I wouldn't say they have true beginner's classes. Plus the floors were really dirty. But I can imagine it can be good for more experienced people.

   Hype had been my family for 9yrs. It is the only dance school I have found that welcomes and encourages adults of all abilities to dance. Anna persuaded me to take my teaching qualification and I couldn't thank her enough!!! I can honestly say it is the best school I have had the pleasure of attending and teaching at... The teachers are amazing, welcoming and supportive... I have yet to find another place comparible now I no longer live in Sheffield ❤️

   My daughter trains at Hype and loves it. During her time dancing she has trained at a couple of different school/academies and in her opinion Hype is the best. It has a great, welcoming atmosphere with approachable staff. Fully secure building and fantastic facilities. Definitely recommend.
