Such friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, great water pressure, kettle and tv in room and bed was comfy. Parking only has about 10-15 spaces but there’s a restaurant next door, park there over night no problem.
Booked and paid for a room next February to attend a party local to the hotel. Myself any everyone else in our party received an email 5 days ago to say they were cancelling our bookings as the hotel was being taken over and they would arrange alternate accommodation or a full refund and would respond within 3 days. Well I still have not heard from them so I chased them up only to be told they had sent a refund but it could take up to 5 business days, but no notification was sent and no alternate accommodation offered nearby. We have all booked with Travelodge instead.
In urgent need of modernisation rooms were clean but very dated. And dont order a taxi from the reception phone ask the staff to order, I waited 45 mins for the 1 on the reception phone made me late for my sons wedding after being promised a 20 min wait.
We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now with our 3 children and had a wonderful experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the family rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff have always gone above and beyond to try and grant our request to have a ground floor room to help us with pram access. We look forward to booking again soon x
We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. Check in was simple and Emily was very friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit tight and limited, but we managed to get a space. This is an older Premier Inn, and the rooms are a tad dated, with small bathrooms. The room was clean and well maintained, with some tea and coffee, with top ups freely available in reception. Unusually there is no bar or restaurant attached, although there’s a Hickories next door. Unfortunately they don’t open until 10 if you take breakfast. Menus for the restaurant are available in your room and the Wi-Fi is stable and a decent speed.
Had to be at Wrightington Hospital early morning (10mins away) so booked in night before,arrived 10 30pm Dave on reception could not have been more helpful (thank you matey) the room clean and comfy bed good shower plenty tea coffee in room and decent tv.booked a breakfast at Chorley arms good well worth doing thanks all
Given a room on the ground floor overlooking the car park. A vent in the window which couldn't be closed let traffic noise in making it impossible to sleep. Noise from the room above was also disruptive. If you have the misfortune to stay here ask for a room on the opposite side to the car park on a high floor.
Room needs a serious refurbishment asap. Bed was comfortable as you would expect. I had a terrible night sleep due to a faulty and noisy heating system. I would not stay again unless the establishment has been refurbished.
A typical Premier Inn. Clean, simple rooms. Paid £58 for a double room with breakfast which was reasonable value. Breakfast was in the Charnley Arms which is just next to the hotel and again it was reasonable value. Option of cold buffet and cooked breakfasts.
Lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Aiguille and Henry were fantastic, couldn't do enough. Only problems we had was massive lack of plug sockets, none round the bed. The rail by side of toilet seat too close as it was right against me and going to loo in night it wakes you up a cold bar. Also the hand rails in Bath are in waybof having a shower. Finally bath was slippy when wet ended up using a small towel to make sure didnt slip. It was a nice hotel with great staff just needs a bit of a refurbishment.
