Good price hotel, reasonably quiet and helpful staff. Better prices than premier inn and quieter, sleep quality much better. Premier inn Chorley north is poorly managed, this hotel is well managed.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to Monika and the team at the plaza in Chorley. We had traveled here for a family get together and stayed here for a couple nights for somewhere to sleep in the area. The team welcomed us and helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean and everything we needed. We did get offered food but as we were going to family’s we didn’t have but it’s good it’s there if needed. We will be coming back as I honestly couldn’t ask for anything else
Easily the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in. Booked because we were traveling with a group and rooms were available and reasonably priced. Staff was not friendly with the exception of the housekeeper. She was lovely. However, this place needs a DEEP clean. Our allergies have been terrible- it's so dusty - cobwebs in corners and visible dust on walls. Felt less clean after a shower - black mould on the ceiling and shower curtain. Yuck.
We had a lovely stay at Best Western, Chorley last weekend. Room was spotless, bed was very comfy and as usual the staff were brilliant. We stayed in room 14 which was on the ground floor, facing the rear car park. Very quite. Perfect. We have already booked a return visit for next week.
For the money it's perfectly acceptable. The rooms were super clean, but basic. The staff are great. The breakfast on offer is all prepackaged and very basic. Better to go across the car park to the pub. Look for £55 what do you expect. I have stayed in much worse, with a higher rate. Yes I would stay again.
The hotel itself was good, clean rooms comfortable bed and a reasonable breakfast. The stay was let down by the fact that we were automatically charged for a third room when my confirmation email clearly shows 2 rooms. The hotel told me to call customer service and they promised me a refund within 4 days. 10 days later no refund and after further calls the refund eventually arrived about 3 weeks after staying.
Booked for some friends to stay months ago as they're coming over from Spain. One week before they cancelled, leaving them to find another hotel at short notice. Other hotels seem to be further away and charging over £100 extra. Spoke to them and said they would be refunded but didn't know when and a manager would ring back and there were works on the hotel as to why they couldn't stay. Someone else in town has said they're housing asylum seekers there. No issue with that but why not honour reservations already made???
Stayed at this former Premier Inn Hotel Oct 2022. Staff were really friendly but sadly it went downhill from there onwards. Throughout the building the former Premier Inn signs are still up and it seems little effort to rebrand and redecorate to their own standard. The room wasn't particularly clean, shower curtains had mold and there was a splash of something up side of bed and a hand print on the wall. I could deal with that but I found myself complaining to reception later that evening that the fan in my room was whirling and even with the door closed and with it switched off would not stop it making the noise. Staff said really sorry but no other rooms available and no one can fix it, nevermind I still managed to sleep just annoying. In the morning I went to the breakfast room and thought I was in the staff canteen, small selection of continental options only and a bit of a squeeze when others were in the room. Not a great night stay I'm afraid.
Lovely place and nice clean rooms. Friendly staff and great pub just outside. Only thing that let it down was no fridge or air con in the rooms. Only a small fan that did nothing to cool the room haha. It was 31 degrees outside and the rooms stayed about 31 degrees all night. Apart from the heat it was a brilliant short stay and we will be back again next year
