Booked last minute to stay on a matchday - was brilliant value for money! Car park felt safe and location is very easy to access from the motorway. Staff were also very polite and helpful. No complaints at all!
This was our second visit and once again great for what we want while visiting family on the area. We were having an issue getting in to the room after dinner, but before we could report the issue staff were on the case and on had to sort out the issue. Love the idea of the little kition area as well if you are passing through or working away i guess. We will be back, without question.
This is a 3.5 stars review. The place is actually cheap and would recommend only if you plan on going there to sleep. My only complaint is regarding the shared bathroom. We did our reservation vía Amex and there was nowhere specified that the bathroom was shared. Everything was clean and in good state. The traffic outside might be noisy but unsure. A lil bit far from the center but its cheap.
Needed a budget place to sleep as I had I night game at the football. Found this and cannot complain. Josh and the young lady in the office were really helpful and friendly. Had free on site secure parking. Was going to drive to my regular parking spot but looked to see how far and It was about an hour's walk to the ground, Anfield, Always nice to walk in with the crowd when a night game is on. Very close to a big Supermarket (Tesco), coffee shops and a big retail park with restaurants also so not a bad location. Would stay again if the needed arises. Thanks.
Can highly recommend that place. Nice people, clean and comfortable rooms with windows and really good prices. Free coffee and some goodies to eat. Theres also a kitchen with a fridge. Bus station to the City Centre where you are in 25 min and supermarkets around the corner.
I present to you the Bed and Breakfast...without breakfast! They sent me a message about a week before I arrived that due to COVID they no longer served breakfast, but instead put breakfast in our rooms. But it'd be a stretch to say they even did that. The "breakfast" I found was maybe a breakfast bar or two. Barely any coffee, maybe a breakfast bar, etc. COVID seems to have passed, however, and I did not see any other safety measures. If they weren't scamming me--it's time to bring that breakfast back. Nevertheless, even if they did bring back breakfast to live up to their name, I still would not recommend. I did not feel in the least bit comfortable while I was there. I had come for a week to attend a conference, and was shown to a bedroom where the sheets did not fit my bed. The people in the room next to me on day 2 were quite loud, and I never felt private enough to cool down from the stress of the day. It just became too much, and I left the next day.
Lovely place to stay nice and clean has free car parking and security 24/7. It's a quick taxi into town about £7 so cheaper and easier to park up and jump in taxi. We would definitely stop here again
We were pleasantly surprised walking in, the outside doesn't look very appealing but the rooms, bathrooms and communal kitchen were all clean and neat. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and it was great value for money overall. Breakfast was oat pots (just add water) with a breakfast bar, but there was more than plenty tea and coffee. One thing we did find a bit weird was our room was apparently the only room with a shower, which instead of being an en suite, was literally standing in the corner of the room with a sink? We didn't have any problems with it but if you're not booking the room with your partner you should probably use the communal shower!
