   Stayed here 27 upton drive July 26th for chester races. We arranged an early check 10/10.30am On arrival place looked derelict had 2 double check we had correct address. Knocked no answer! Went off for breakfast arrived back 11am Lady was surprised to see us even tho we had arranged early check in . House - we booked 2 rooms thro booking.com. only 1 room ready attic ! House cluttered dirty and looked like it should be knocked down. Attic- extremely steep stairs - no Hand rails with hatch that drops down . Safety rail was placed around top of hole but not secure so had you got up in night and stumbled you would fall downstairs. To steep for wife so she shared with my mates wife downstairs will the men used attic bedroom. No fire doors / smoke alarms/ etc . Place is cluttered with personal stuff.reviews on booking.com say same about stairs and handrail. Owner clearly states she has had 1 fitted. All lies my photos don't lie. Ive reported this to chester council as I believe this property is breaking all fire safety laws and other laws they are currently investigating. Please stay clear of this property. Booking.com and other sites should strike it off . The garden room ( our 2nd room was cluttered. Fridge full of owners own stuff .cats left roaming on guest beds. Biggest mistake ever would be spending money here hopefully chester council will shit this down

   Didn't see the room as on arrival, no parking, the house looked very run down. The lady who answered the door was unwelcoming and also looked unkempt.
