   I booked the Grown Up Room at Oddfellows Chester for a business meeting with a group of 13, and it couldn’t have gone better. From start to finish, the communication around the booking was clear, prompt, and incredibly friendly. The team made everything effortless, and their warm, professional approach set the tone for a brilliant experience. The facilities were spot on, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly suited to a group of our size. We also had tea, coffee, and soft drinks provided as part of the package, which kept everyone refreshed throughout the day. Our group absolutely loved the hotel’s unique, quirky style. The playful, imaginative design throughout the building created such a memorable atmosphere and definitely sparked plenty of compliments from the team. It’s rare to find a venue that manages to be professional, characterful, and genuinely welcoming all at once, but Oddfellows delivers on every point. Location in the centre of Chester is fantastic! Highly recommended.

   I attended a wedding evening do recently with my partner and another friend. Great atmosphere, service and food was great. My one and only issue was the ladies toilet. Locks and door knobs stiff and hard to get out off and one toilet had no light on. Please fix the locks and the light.

   Lovely atmosphere. Sat outside in a heated booth. We only intend on staying for one drink but felt so cosy we stayed well over an hour. Shame about the weird 19 young barman, who's on a bit of an ego trip, but he didn't ruin the experience. Will go again.

   Oddfellows in Chester is fantastic, my wife and I had our wedding there and the staff went above and beyond in helping us the whole way from initial booking to the big day. Rebecca the events manager is amazing at her job and helped sort all wedding details with us. The chefs are brilliant, reflected in the excellent food. Bar and waiting staff are so friendly and on top of everything at all times. We have been to the restaurant and bar many times before the wedding and the service is always top class. Highly recommend for a wedding, visit, stay over or bite to eat and drink. Quirky interior and lovely vibe in the place

   Had a 1 night stay here and it was absolutely incredible. Deserves more than 5 stars! The service, the food, the atmosphere.. all AMAZING! They were so accommodating as I was booking for my partners birthday, they made it extra special and the service was just perfect. The food is outstanding, one of the best meals we’ve had. It’s over a 2 and a half hour drive from us but we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Would totally recommend. Thank you :)

   Beautiful hotel, best nights sleep I’ve had in ages! Our daughter loved the freestanding bath AND the rainfall shower, (she used both). Restaurant and bar were great too.

   New years Eve stay with dinner and breakfast... gin and tonic served with mould on the garnished fruit as was prosecco... furniture in the room was tired, and the shower area was in need of refurbishment. There was no entertainment other than piped music... Great location and breakfast was good.

   Stayed in Lady Mary's Loft on 23rd Dec with my partner. Previously stayed in a different room last year on 23rd Dec at the Oddfellows and had enjoyed it so decided to return. The main reason for booking this room was the price and the two baths. I've never stayed anywhere with two baths before. Oddfellows is also in a great location central to Chester and easy walking distance to local bars and restaurants. There is a small mini bar in the room and Nespresso machine. The WiFi in the room was great, and we were able to connect our own fire stick. The room was noisy until the music downstairs was turned off at 11 p.m., but this did not bother us. It was xmas! When we previously stayed, we had no noise problems, but the room was located in an annexe behind the hotel. Lady Marys loft is located at the top of the hotel and accessed by two flights of stairs, no lift. We were awoken the next day at 0745 by the music, but this was just an oversight by a staff member who had switched it on without realising it was at Friday night volumes. The boiler broke on the morning of our stay, and this problem was swiftly dealt with by Diane on reception. She sorted it out and called us to advise it had been done. Great customer service. We mentioned our early morning music alarm, and she was very apologetic. Really love this hotel, and staff are excellent. There are lots of different rooms, and we loved our unique stay in Lady Marys Loft. The shower is fabulous, the bed was really comfortable and the two baths are a lovely feature. We started off our Christmas break in style and would definitely return in the future.

   Great hotel and great staff. Hotel is clean and well presented, rooms are also clean, well designed and have a good level of features. We stayed in the 2 level room which was well equipped and the bed and bath were brilliant aswell as having the 2 TVs, 1 in the bedroom upstairs and 1 in the lounge area. Bar and outside seating is excellent, with heating on the cooler nights. Just a brilliant hotel in a great location that I would recommend for those staying in Chester for a few days.
