I had a really nice stay here. Very comfy bed, clean room with newly renovated bathroom. Friendly staff, small pub where you could enjoy a drink before going to bed. I will stay here again during my next stay in Liverpool.

Had a lovely overnight stay on 12th November. We upgraded to a superior double. Very nice spacious room but missing a few of the finer touches, especially in the bathroom. Broken loo roll holder, broken bath panel, top of the shower rail had come unscrewed from the wall, shower had a constant drip and there was no bath mat to stand on once out of the shower. A little attention to detail is required, but otherwise it was great.

Brilliant little cosy hotel in the heart of Anfield. The room was spacious, tidy, checking in and out was a breeze. NOTE: Be advised about the deposit hold before arrival, it gets refunded on leave. I had a good time, the atmosphere is relaxing and very warm. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO ANITA, the hostess/bar lady, a very polite and gracious person, world class level of service provided. Her pleasant disposition alone is an asset to the place! Thank you for the pint, madam!

We stayed the night when we attended the second ashes test at The Hill Dickinson stadium. It's within 40 mins walk of the stadium. We got a quick uber to the ground, but walked back after the match. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfy.

Husband booked this a year ago for our wedding anniversary we checked in on July 12. We were staying in Liverpool that weekend booked two shows in the empire few days before we got email saying breakfast had been cancelled and would be offered a free drink. We were not given it. We had a room on the first floor right above the beer garden room was lovely staff were nice

We stayed here for one night over the weekend in room 4. It was very clean and tidy. About 5 mins after getting into our room we had a knock on the door and two big glasses of bubbly was given to us kindly! The receptionist was lovely when checking us in and the boss seemed to be working hard to help us with anything! Our room had a massive 60+ inch TV with all of the apps and channels needed (thank you Badger for leaving your netflix signed in lol). Would definitely return!

All I can say is wow. This hotel is clearly loved by everyone who works there. Rooms are immaculate, staff are helpful and hardworking, I felt they really wanted to lend a hand. Me and my friend stayed here for a couple of nights and had so much fun. Rooms are comfortable and the bar was stunning I will be returning ASAP

A couple of the staff were lovely but some were not especially the manager. Rooms were comfy but odd with no wardrobes ours just had coat hooks with hangers on.....if you came back with a wet coat there was nowhere to hang it. No cooked breakfast on offer as they don't have a kitchen so how did they prepare the continental offering? All in all I wouldn't recommend and certainly won't be returning.

Myself and my partner stayed here whilst visiting Liverpool for my 20th birthday. When we arrived i asked if there was anymore parking i was told no and to park my car as close to the planters as possible. There is no specific area for parking except for two allocated parking spots which I think were used up by staff anyway. I did not feel safe leaving my car there and ended up paying an extra Β£25 to park my car elsewhere for the weekend. The room was nice however the website states the beds are King, i would say they are more of a small-double. They were extremely uncomfortable and i didnβt sleep well at all. The website also states every room has a 55inch TV with Sky, we had a 55inch TV but no access to Sky TV, so another let down. When we checked in we were asked to give a card to hold Β£150 as a damage deposit, we were also asked if we wanted to add breakfast to our booking, we added breakfast for one morning to arrive at 8am, we specified that we would be leaving for a tour at 8.40am. The following morning our breakfast arrived at 8.35am in which we had no time to eat. We paid Β£25 for breakfast, it consisted of croissants, fruit and toast, not worth the money. When we arrived back at the hotel after our tour, i complained and asked for a refund i was told they would have to check with the manager, we never received an update after this. I emailed them regarding an update on a refund for the breakfast and the damage deposit, however i had no response for 4 days, it took for me to email them a second time and then phone them, for them to finally acknowledge me. We had a lovely weekend in Liverpool but this hotel ruined it for us, extremely disappointed for the price we paid. We wonβt be returning, and certainly wouldnβt recommend to a friend.
