   We had our wedding reception here on 18th October 2025. What can I say? From the moment we made our enquiry as to availability until we left the hotel the morning after our wedding, we were treated like VIPs!! Kylie, who was our contact for the event, couldn't do enough for us. She and the team decorated the venue to our exact specification. It looked absolutely beautiful. We booked the Grand Buffet for our guests. Wow! the food was absolutely delicious and as well as some old favourites, there was some unique dishes that went down spectacularly! All of our guests commented on the food and how amazing it was. Every time a dish was getting low, the staff replenished it. There certainly wasn't any shortage. Two of our guests, in particular, who are vegan were presented at their table with a mouth-watering selection of food. All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and very professional in their duties. As the evening went on we had the NB DJ. They supplied singing, music and karaoke. We couldn't have asked for more. We stayed the night and were surprised with a lovely basket of chocolates and wine - a very thoughtful and unexpected gift. The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the river. The next morning. again the staff were exceptional. What a fantastic breakfast too. So much so we booked in for Sunday lunch !    Had a fantastic stay here in early October. Room was fantastic. Very spacious and clean! Super comfy beds! Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly! Breakfast was fantastic! Thoroughly recommended! We are already planning to come back next year!

   Stayed in a family room whilst at a family wedding. Check in was warm and welcoming and our room was spacious and well equipped. We ate in the restaurant the first evening and stayed for Sunday lunch before we left. Food was lovely on both occasions. The proximity to the beach and train station is a high plus point. Less than 10 minutes walk to each. We’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting family.

   Such a lovely hotel! We usually stay in the travelodge but we were attending a wedding at the hotel so thought it’d be easier to stay here. We were so surprised at how big the rooms were and the extras that you get like the biscuits. It’s so much better than the travelodge and we’d definitely stay again. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially the lady cleaning the rooms. The wedding was also amazing and you could see that the staff had worked really hard at making it special. We had Sunday lunch the next day and it was lovely. Huge Yorkshire puddings! Thank you for an excellent stay.

   We had our Wedding Party here on the 4th of October and it was absolutely amazing! Kylie & Jay were so helpful and put in so much effort to helping with decor, rooms and food. People are still talking about the Greek Style Buffet we had it was that good! Big thanks to all the other staff members who were great on the night! Rooms were lovely and spacious as well and they accommodated all my family who travelled from all over the UK.

   Decided to have a Sunday roast here for the first time.. made contact with the girl in charge of the customers and orders.she placed us a at table and said she will be over to take our order...1 hour later we decided to leave..the girl in charge seen us leaving and explained she totally forgot about us...
