“Been walking here for a few months now and it's a little gem of a pub. If you fancy a treat, get here. Great selection of beers, food is great and the beer garden is amazing. Staff are really friendly and I love coming here when I visit New Brighton.”

“This hotel was a gem. We have been all over Europe this year in over 30 hotels including Paris but this hotel was miles the best. The hotel has parking for about 10 cars and is a two storey building. Breakfast you can have basically anything within reason a typical breakfast is 2 sausage,bacon,eggs with beans and tomatoes also toast with jam of course there is tea and coffee. The rooms are great for sleeping in with a bathroom and a TV. Getting in to Liverpool is easy all you do is come out of the hotel turn left and walk up St Paul's Road at the end turn right up to the second set of lights on to Poulton Road turn left and the bus stop is there into Liverpool at a cost of £4 return. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Royal Albert docks. This is with a 10 minute walk down Dale street. I can highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be going back. The hotel is a project in operation but the hotel manager (Dave) and his staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them to solve.”

“Stayed in a family room whilst at a family wedding. Check in was warm and welcoming and our room was spacious and well equipped. We ate in the restaurant the first evening and stayed for Sunday lunch before we left. Food was lovely on both occasions. The proximity to the beach and train station is a high plus point. Less than 10 minutes walk to each. We’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting family.”

“Friendly fun pub well stocked bar pleasant staff I play darts there twice a week. Weekend s are great with music events especially during the summer. Also special events such as gin and vodka festival”

“Family love it here. Love the new look of it and good to see Mike the karaoke man there. Probably one of the best pubs around Liscard. Staff are friendly and good to see them mix in with the crowd on the karaoke.”

“Great place to stay so close to bus stop too which was a bonus. Comfy bed, extra pillows. Tea and coffee supplied too.”

“I stayed here for tewlve nights in May, this was the fifth time I have stayed here. As usual all staff extremely helpful. Rooms extremely clean, and good breakfast. You are only two minutes away from bus into Liverpool which takes approximately 20 minutes, or bus into Birkenhead and catch bus to Cheshire oaks outlet, or carry on into Chester. Unfortunately for the staff I,ll be back in November.”
