Great place to stay so close to bus stop too which was a bonus. Comfy bed, extra pillows. Tea and coffee supplied too.

A warm and clean room with comfortable beds, which I booked for three nights. Friendly staff too made my stay enjoyable.

The hotel is 2star and was exactly as expected. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. After using the toilet a couple of times the flush refused to reset and for the duration of our stay we had the irritation of a hissing/dribbling cistern. Reception staff first told us that maintenance staff won't come out at weekends. Then we were told maintenance staff refused to work in occupied rooms in case they are accused of stealing after they have left. Reception and housekeeping staff were very helpful, as much as they could be and were very easy to talk to. Travelodge really can't expect guests to go all weekend with a noisy toilet cistern and having to use the kettle, filled at the wash hand basin, to pour water down to flush waste down the toilet. We left a day early, due in equal part to the foul weather and the noisy, irritating toilet. I doubt the staff noticed until Monday 10 a.m. checkout time.

Easy to find and good parking. We booked a family room and had a great view of the beach and the port. Room was very clean and a decent size for 2 adults and 2 children, although I was pleased it wasn’t a warm night as the room was quite hot. Reception was sometimes unmanned, so not sure how easy it would have been to resolve any issues, but fortunately we didn’t have any and the staff we did encounter were very pleasant. We went to the nearby Starbucks for breakfast, would recommend that over the breakfast box they provide. Overall pleasantly surprised.

Hotel is great value for money, it’s in a perfect location by all food places, beaches and lovely walks. The hotel being dog friendly is a huge bonus as it’s within walking distance of a lot of dog friendly food places and of course the beach. We came on a really warm week so the rooms did get warm but the hotel provided a fan, just something to consider maybe bringing a fan with you / light clothing. We didn’t have breakfast but the to go breakfast they offer seems great value! The hotel manager was lovely, he was really helpful and friendly, as well as all other staff we spoke to. For the price you pay, it’s 100% worth the stay if you’re in new Brighton!

Had a lovely few days there, lovely clean room that had had recently been refurbished, redecorated and a brand new wall heater that worked a treat. Great views too. Many thanks to Diane on the front desk who was really helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying again.

Hotel is clean and well kept. Car park is very dark and not easy to find at night time. Unfortunately, the hot water in the shower did not work. The receptionist sounded surprised as she explained that the plumber had been around and all was sorted.

Disclaimer: I love Travelodge. It's cheap, does the job, and is reliable. Can't completely recommend this one, though. I managed to book a room during the Labour Party Conference so was priced out of Liverpool central. No worries, plenty to enjoy nearby in New Brighton. Trouble is, this hotel is located above a bunch of other businesses and I suspect is a refurbishment. Rooms much smaller than normal, bathrooms much smaller than normal, and the rooms were SO HOT. We were in room 123 on a day in which it was 14c as a high and with the window fully open and all heaters competely off we still couldn't get cool. Having a look at the multiplex nearby I suspect that our rooms were located above a hot kitchen. I couldn't sleep with the heat in the room until it was well past midnight. Otherwise it was completely fine despite being small. Can't complain about the free parking! And the beach access is handy, too.
