“My little lad wanted something from here and I wasn't sure what to get him so the wonderful staff advised he got an axolotl. My Son decided he would take the advice and get 2. The staff were fantastic, they gave us a cracking deal with the axolotls and full set up and one staff member in particular is outstanding! He will often get a stick insect or giant snail out to show to the children and sometimes even let them hold them! He is very knowledgeable and is always happy to take the opportunity to teach you all he knows about the pets he has in stock.”

“In the centre of Liscard, Iceland stands: easy to get to, easily accessible for prams or wheelchairs. There's a great variety of food at reasonable prices, catering for vegetarian, vegan, and meat eaters. The service is fast, the staff are helpful and friendly - and delivery is free if you've done a full shopload. If you're a pensioner ask about the food reductions on a Tuesday as Iceland have led the charge in offering help during these difficult times. It is a supermarket that deserves to be shopped in as they have demonstrated they are a place that cares - from the CEO, to the workers in the shop isles.”

“I cannot praise this doggy parlour highly enough. Everyone is so friendly and my little doggy always looks beautiful when I collect her. The girls are fantastic in their care and really genuinely love the dogs who go there. My little friend hates being groomed and although she wants to leave, she also always wants to greet the girls and enthusiastically wags her tail happily when she sees them! Lovely place,very well organised and gentle, caring staff. Perfect.”

“I left my last review 5yrs ago and my little man (long haired chihuahua named Carlos) still goes here, my health has deteriorated over the years and im mostly bed ridden these days but I throw a key out the window and they open up and help me get him out then they let him back in again, if this isn't above and beyond I don't know whst is? He's clipped in all the right places and always comes home looking gorgeous and smelling great. I love all the staff there and so does my little dude, I'd never go anywhere else!”

“This hotel was a gem. We have been all over Europe this year in over 30 hotels including Paris but this hotel was miles the best. The hotel has parking for about 10 cars and is a two storey building. Breakfast you can have basically anything within reason a typical breakfast is 2 sausage,bacon,eggs with beans and tomatoes also toast with jam of course there is tea and coffee. The rooms are great for sleeping in with a bathroom and a TV. Getting in to Liverpool is easy all you do is come out of the hotel turn left and walk up St Paul's Road at the end turn right up to the second set of lights on to Poulton Road turn left and the bus stop is there into Liverpool at a cost of £4 return. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Royal Albert docks. This is with a 10 minute walk down Dale street. I can highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be going back. The hotel is a project in operation but the hotel manager (Dave) and his staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them to solve.”

“I have been to various dog groomers and my dog always seemed terrified when I come back and just wanted to leave. Since Hannah's canine cuts opened I have never seen my dog so happy to be their. She is very cheap and the quality that you get is outstanding, Hannah does an amazing job at cutting dogs, I would never change my groomers now as Hannah makes not only the dog feel welcome but also the owner.”
