We stayed here for New Years Eve to have a chilled night away. Well it was very chilled...the heating didnt work so was very cold. There was no staff around to inform. In one of the rooms by ours there was a very strong smell of weed that was that strong its all you could smell in our room. If we had been nearer to home we'd have left that night. We were out of there by 0830am and there was still no staff around. Would not recomend at all

Stayed 10 days for work, website looks amazing. Don't be fooled, wish I'd read the trust pilot reviews. The positives, the chef was very friendly, breakfast was decent. Thats pretty much it. Room, booked a suite, turns out the suite was a room with a separate area most people would class as an area to hang coats, you couldn't stand in it and raise your arms, but this apparently was the second room (see photo) The rooms themselves were tired, carpet very worn and stained. Bathroom was in dire needs of refurbishment. I didnt get a single service in 10 days, and had to ask for fresh towels at reception. After complaining they did 1 change of sheets on day 5. However on check out day the cleaning staff turned up at 10 asking me to vacate, even though checkout was at 11... There is no bar, no restaraunt and the staff know nothing about the area. The wifi seemed to turn on and off throughout the day. The walls are paper thin, I could literally hear people talking in the next room and walking about. There was no guests staying, yet a large number of scruffy individuals hanging around the back, I suspect migrants, although was told they were on a long term contract, which I suspect was a way of getting around the locals objections to its application to accept migrants (as told by a member of staff) No carpet on the main stairs, upstairs carpets looked like someone had dragged muddy corpses across. Avoid, the only benefit was the cheap price (understandable why). I wouldn't stay here for work or social in the future

Room lovely Staff that were seen polite Facilities not working Doesn't have a phone to reception, in 2025 expects guests to be walking up and downstairs when has issue. WiFi is non existent, and doesn't have usb sockets Found the hotel in general very lacking and staff over email very disappointing and not very accommodating. Would not and will not ever be returning. Far better hotels for alot cheaper and better staff Very very disappointed

Looks great from the website but once arrived it was completely false advertising, there was one member of staff in the hotel who had no knowledge about the building or what was available. There was also no bar/restaurant in operation. No carpet on the stairs and apparently its been under renovation for over 2 years ! There was also migrants staying here to be later told that there on a long term contract in living accommodation with there washing hanging out the back on fences. Stay away !!!!
