   The North Wales & Chester Oddfellows enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal there on 11th December 2025. The staff were all very polite and friendly and they served our tasty meals very professionally. We all had a lovely time. Thank you. The only small niggle was that the roast beef was a little tough, other than that we would highly recommend the venue and we will happily return.

   We held a recent party here and from the first enquiry onwards, Yan and his team were professional, friendly and incredibly accommodating to our wishes. What we agreed was what was actually delivered at the party. Guests commented on the quality and quantity of the food especially the hot Chinese food. As there were plenty of bar staff, guests didn't have to queue when ordering drinks. The DJ, table decorations and chair sashes were included too. It was a seamless stress free event to arrange and I would host a party here again. About 30 of us stayed at the hotel and the rooms suited our needs as were clean modern and had everything we needed. Plenty of parking and the breakfast was of a good quality - sausages and bacon were particularly lovely.

   We were driving passing by to charge our car, and happen to walk in the reception found this bar. The young pretty waitress was so nice and helpful, we all love her smile. and the food was unexpectedly delicious, really delicious compared to the all ones we had in our trip. Highly recommend.

   Attended a party of an old friend, as we live over an hour away we decided to stay. Check in was easy and all staff we met were lovely and helpful. The room was basic, mostly clean (the chair and fan in the room need a good clean), bed was very comfortable, room was a good temperature, the bathroom was disappointing as the sink was tiny and difficult to use due to being part of the toilet and no mirror in the bathroom. The venue for the party was lovely and the drinks were reasonably priced. Food was lovely for a buffet. We didn't eat in the restaurant or stay for breakfast. Overall it was worth the money we paid for the stay but with a lick of paint and a good clean it would have been excellent.

   Our room was disappointing. Needs a small amount of time and money spending on it which would make it much more appealing especially on arrival. Food, breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Unfortunately the bar/dining room looked very tired. Carpet needs replacing. The greatest asset is the staff. The breakfast/bar/restaurant and cleaning staff were all excellent - friendly and very helpful

   Greeted by a lovely young man in arrival and couldn't do enough for us, Beautiful room and view, fantastic service from the guys at all mealtimes and such quality food and ample amounts, only negative young lady at reception on checking out was on her mobile and just pointed where we should put the keys, a little bit more customer service there. We had booked to come in June. Just cannot wait as this first trip was a little extra cheeky getaway treat.

   A comfortable motel but only remarks is that the beds are well worn and done my back in after being there for a week . The bathroom was very nice but with only 2 bulbs working . And the heavy smell of pot in the air most nights . Most annoying thing is every morning you get your door knocked by housekeeping. Would be an idea to have a do not disturb hanger available for your door to avoid getting woken up

   This was a lovely place. The room was clean and welcoming, plenty of complimentary tea, coffee , biscuits and bottles of water. The food in the restaurant was amazing and great value and the staff were wonderful, highly recommend it.

   Stayed in room 10 and it was a lovely. It was clean and warm and a bit of a wow when I walked in. Everything about this room was perfect for what we wanted. Only slight downside was the mobile reception, but that isn't to hotels fault ;)
