Lovely staff, always saying good morning and good night. Very clean room. Stayed here for my birthday in February and just stayed for another week. Great for people that drive as it’s not far from everything and different places. 100% be staying here again soon as the team was so welcoming and lovely.
Very basic with no hot meals available. There is a burger king next door thats open between 11 and 8. So no chance of a hot breakfast. And if I'm honest its not best burger king either. However for a two star hotel it was warm, comfortable and it was clean. I will stay here again next year I'll just have to plan my meals better. One thing you might want to be aware of is they have homeless people staying here. Not immigrants, people from the uk. Mainly people from broken relationships I think, waiting to be rehoused. They're were all very friendly and spend most of their time sat outside chatting to the others..
There were no USB or USB C sockets in the room and no plug sockets beside the bed, not quite ready for 2025! Each section of the corridor had its own special smell. Not all rooms had bonnets. Bench outside for smoking. Dire location with a Burger King next door but wasn’t open late and maybe not even early in the morning.
Good value for money, a bit remote but Burger King next door so ok for food. Overall good value for money. Receptionist polite and friendly, lots or parking.
A clean hotel room. A comfortable bed with crisp white sheets and a puffy duvet. A lovely bath, which is rare nowadays, with piping hot water. Friendly staff. All for the cheapest price. What a win!
Very quiet from guests and no road noise. Room was clean and carpets in good condition as is the normal.
Stayed at Halkyn Travelodge whilst visiting some friends in the local area, absolutely ideal for what we needed. A bit out the way possibly, but just off the A55 so it's straight forward to get anywhere. Clean and basic, friendly reception staff. There is a Burger King next door - didn't have the breakfast here, but can recommend Betty Berkins cafe (as others have) about 5mins down the road. Five stars from us.
Really nice and friendly staff. Rooms basic but clean and dry, what I would expect from a travelodge. Good location for Chester and North Wales. Liverpool an hour down the road. Good location for a stopover.
We have stayed at this travelodge a couple of times now, and both times have been a very pleasant visit for my wife and I. The rooms are very good, well kept and cleaned and the employees were always polite and helpful. We would definatly stay there again on our next visit to North Wales.
Very pleased with our stay here, great price, good location for what we needed it for, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. A fan was provided due to the warm weather which was great. The lady on the check in desk was very friendly, all in all a good experience.
