Today was the second time I’ve been and it was just as good as the first. I’ve had the Sunday roast both times I’ve been and the food is EXCELLENT. Very cosy, friendly, reasonably priced and the best lamb dinner I’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

A lovely, busy local pub. We ordered dinner and all three meals were delicious, especially the steak.

Spacious room with self catering facilities at a reasonable price. Extremely friendly community owned pub downstairs but noise is not a problem as the pub is rarely open after 10 pm. Easy access to Mold, Loggerheads Country Park and Ruthin.

In quiet an isolated village with only the community run pub and small shop as amenities. Room was fine though looks out over pub garden which is well attended by locals. No breakfast served as pub closed all day. Dinner in pub served at weekends is well presented. Surrounded by countryside so nice for walking and 20 mins either way to local towns

The best nights sleep was here. Joy (owner) was so obliging. We got lost. She drove to meet us. How good was that. The beds so comfy, everything in our room so clean and the continental breakfast appreciated. We met some locals downstairs before bed. Thankyou for everything Joy.

Great lunch after a walk in the snow. Love this community run pub. No score for rooms because we did not over night.

Used the place as a Half way location to Tenby, it was a great place, to find, good parking, and the room was fabulous , with a good range of kitchen ideal, for the basic breakfast and hot food of an evening great comfy bed, lots of space, a full modern shower , no fuss , checked in fast , and job done. Short drive to stores and eating places, if desired , The bar is cosy , with a good selection of drinks . would stay here again if the need arises

Booked here for B and B, agreed arrival of 5pm. Pub closed, sat outside for 2 hours, no food. Helpful local saved the day by ringing around other local pubs for food and even dropped us up there!! - thanks very much Chris.

The Raven is our go to pub when we are away at the caravan. The pub is community ran and a real integral point of the village. All the staff and users of the pub are welcoming and to make things even better, they are a dog friendly pub. The choice of drinks are well varied and the food is first class. The portion sizes are ample and we particularly love their roast dinners, haddock and chips and the little baskets of scampi. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and would recommend this pub to anybody.
