   I live in Farndon and I have been to the Raven loads of times, and it never disapoints. I now have a favourite meal there, the salt and pepper chicken wings with potato tots, Mac n cheese and chips. Since it is alot I usually share with my cousin since it is her fav too. I have to say..... No. 1 CHICKEN WINGS IN THE WORLD! #wingwednesdayisthebestday

   We had a family birthday party here in the room upstairs , and if was perfect from start to finish. Eva was so helpful and accommodating, and her team were all lovely and looked after us all really well . The food was delicious … we had the Xmas Menu … yum !! We would definitely recommend .    Went with my husband for a date night. As someone requiring a gluten-free menu, I was taken away by the incredible selection available. I was given a dedicated menu that was almost the same size as the standard and offered almost identical options. I am so used to the GF offering being a much smaller selection that it was a pleasant surprise to be able to pick the same great food as my husband. I chose a standard burger and then some bacon fries as a side. The portion sizes were so good, we both left feeling full. The service was great. When we arrived, we were told that due to staffing, the service would be a bit longer, but we didn't wait any longer than we have waited anywhere else, and the waiting staff were friendly and welcoming. The food quality was great, with the burger not being a thick, chewy burger, but rather fresh and full of flavour, with just enough toppings to not overpower it. As for fries, they were fantastic! I could eat those alone and still feel that I had had a great meal! It's rare for my husband to feel so full. We will definitely be coming back!

   I went to the Raven after a funeral recently and I was very impressed with the service in the upstairs room. We were greeted at the door, excellent coffee served on arrival, delicious buffet and lovely bar staff. Well done Raven, you provided a lovely atmosphere for an important occasion.

   We visited today as a group, 4 had Sunday Roast and one had a selection from the small plates menu. All absolutely delicious!! The calamari was perfect and the roasts were spot on, gorgeous. It’s our friends local so we’ll definitely be back! Would recommend for sure. Thanks for a lovely meal!

   Went for a pint with work colleagues. The pub has a cosy atmosphere in the middle of the delightful village of Farndon. The beer was well kept, and there was a great selection with a couple of guest ales on offer. We shared a meat lovers pizza, and it was really nice and perfectly cooked. Compliments to the chef. Nice experience, will Definately visit again.

   Fantastic event in the function room. The team at the Raven really looked after us recently. We had a sit down meal for 40+ people to celebrate a birthday and everyone was blown away. From the moment we booked the venue the communication was absolutely first rate. The organisation is spot on, the layout of the seating, drinks and canapes on arrival. They worked really hard to make sure everything went well. The facilities in the function room are really good. Separate bar upstairs just for us, separate toilet facilities. Sound system. Its all decorated really tastefully. The food was delicious. We worked with them on the menu and came up with something we were really happy with for the event and the guest feedback on their meals was nothing but positive. The service of the food was professional and efficient. The staff here really do work hard and were really friendly and helpful all evening. If you need a function room in the Farndon area I would highly recommend The Raven.

   Went there on a whim this evening, Saturday night so the place was busy. The staff managed to book us a table in with only a short wait. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, they explained as there was a large party in there would be a bit of a wait for food, which there was but as we had been told was not an issue. There were numerous menu items I could have chosen but went with a burger and was very happy when it arrived. In the party of 4 we were all very happy with our food, the place was clean and all staff there took pride in their work. Great atmosphere, great food and reasonably priced, looking forward to our next visit.
