The place is not far from Liverpool Lime Street station, so it was convenient for me. They don't have lift, but the people at reception helped to carry my luggage. The place is very quiet and the staff are helpful. The room I got was clean and spacious enough. The small bar and the reception area was nice.

Spent there 3 days back in 2011. Everything was good, hotel and room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and I've had here the best British breakfast. Price for hotel was very good. I can recommend this hotel.

Lovely two night stay, old fashioned but clean room, quiet and most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. The lady on reception was lovely. Recommended if you need a central place to stay in Liverpool

Good and friendly staff and very helpful, the neighbours was kind enough to let me park my car overnight, a little noisy because the workmen were in the room above doing renovation work but overall good location and easy. Thank you Linda for your help.

Very clean room, simple, basic. Tea & coffee in room.en-suite, Towels, hairdryer, Free-view TV & a small fan. However, no breakfast at all. But, great old house with lots of history. I will book again. X

Very good location and good sized room. The room was clean but very outdated. Shower and sink in the bathroom practically unusable.

We have found the room for a very good price for 3 nights, breakfast included and free access to Wifi. The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the much visited areas. Lime Street is closer, but Central Station is not far either. Our room is on the front side of the hotel, the windows are not really up to filtering out the noises of the night life... and not closing properly it might be not very cosy during the night. Water pressure is not the best in the bathroom, but having hot water, there is no complain. Clean towels, bring your toiletries with you. Breakfast is good, served till 9 a.m. Rooms cleaned every single day.

Lovely clean, modern rooms and very comfortable beds! Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast great - just a tad early and narrow time frame if you're back late the night before. A few minutes walk into the city centre, not noisy apart from the sound of traffic which wasn't bothersome. Very good value for money especially considering breakfast is included.
