   Disappointed with data cars today booked a hour a head and still managed to turn up 15 minutes late if they isn't a taxi available at that time they should just tell you we haven't got 1 at that time so you can arrange other arrangements to get to the place you need to be on time

   As others have said, they will charge you over double the going rate if you don't agree a price up front. And will argue anything otherwise after. Avoid! proper scammy company.

   Always really rated data cars. Sometimes my car was late but all good because I allowed for that. Tonight’s driver really let the company down, I approached his car 2 mins after the booked time to be told he had already taken another job due to me being late. I said okay. I then phoned data who were great and arranged another car at the previous car’s expense. RED HONDA CIVIC WO15 SYP. He then turned back up whilst I was on the phone trying to take me. I refused and said please send another car which they did. Hence the 5 star review.

   Absolutely awful!!! Booked a taxi 13:45 to be told that it would be here within the hour. I asked for a link to pay as I didn’t have cash on me. The link had expired, so I rang them again, they said they’d send another. Didn’t receive another one! Then I got a phone call saying I hadn’t paid. I told her I’d asked her for another link. So she tried to take the payment over the phone. Then she told me the taxi wouldn’t be here by 14:45!!! She raised her voice at me and made out it was all my fault. I got so angry with her, told her to cancel it and keep the money. I urgently needed that taxi so I could go and pick my car up from the garage, then go and collect my 3 year old from school!! I would have booked with another firm if I’d have known how rubbish they were gunna be!! Hope she’s happy with herself

   My 16 yo son tried to get a taxi to me I had the money waiting to pay when he got here, taxi driver set off then asked him for money upfront. When he explained I would pay when he got to me he abandoned my child in minus 3 weather 5 miles away and no way to get home. Disgusting

   Be extremely cautious using car 57 with this company. A few weeks ago me and 2 friends got a taxi after a night out and my partner had messaged my friend in the back to check I was okay as my phone had died. I asked if car 57 would put my phone in charge and he did which was nice. He then was trying to over charge us and became wierd and awkward as I only had 15 pound on me and gave him that. the taxi should have only been 12 so we got out of the car asap and he drove off with my phone. We called the taxi rank straight back and said he had drove off without giving my phone back and the office said he had called in to say he was going home after our drop off. He then denied having my phone even though 3 of us were in the taxi and had explained where he had put it and what had happened. The police were involved but the cameras they needed for proof were facing the wrong way. More fool me for trusting he was being nice and placing my phone just on charge. We were not drunk so be careful if you are drunk and getting in this taxi

   Wasn't given a price and then overcharged using a "Fixed Rate" when I got there. I was charged £12 whereas other people who were further away were charged £7-9 with same company or their competitors. Will not use them again!

   I was recommended Data by someone but that being said I was still a little bit anxious about getting a taxi on my own for the first time in a long time. Being a female and knowing the driver was likely male always makes me weary. That being said, my experience was a positive one. I only had to wait a few minutes to the taxi to arrive and he was very friendly from the get go. He chatted with me during the drive and made me feel at ease. Will definitely be using Data Yorkshire again if we need a taxi in the future! Thank you to my driver for being friendly!

   Terrible service as always from Data Yorkshire. Taxi cancelled 15 minutes before pick up because of wanting prior payment, despite speaking to them hours before to amend the pickup time. I think they do this so they can overcharge, my prebooking was £15 and they cancelled it and charged £22. Absolute cowboys, plenty of other services around which are better
