   BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They do not follow their 48 hour cancellation policy, consumer rights or their refund policy!!! I purchased a bed that turned out to be of very poor quality — the headboard isn’t even properly attached and rocks with every movement! They rejected my claims and took 3 weeks to send a technician to check the bed before they could escalate any return or refund. They completely ignored the actual faults and instead filed a report based saying there was no issue with the bed - ignoring my customer dissatisfaction and rejecting my refund. Worse still, they failed to provide any written refund or cancellation policy when asked, leaving me completely in the dark about my rights. It’s clear that HSL does not take genuine customer complaints seriously and instead hides behind biased, inaccurate technician reports. What’s particularly disturbing is that HSL markets to the elderly and disabled — people who are often more vulnerable — yet they seem to exploit that trust which has been done so in our case. I’ve already raised this with the Furniture Ombudsman, my card company, and Trading Standards. Avoid this company. They may claim to offer “comfort with integrity,” but my experience has been anything but.

   Large retail furniture store on the Hendon Way at the junction of Greyhound Hill. This company is both a manufacturer and retailer of chairs, sofa's and beds. They have been established over 50 years and specialise in high quality goods. They operate a Chair Fitting service which includes handcrafting the chair (inc fabric choice) for the individual fit and size of each client. They also operate a Home Visit service. They also have a 3 day express delivery service of standard models. High quality furniture, handcrafted in Britain, built to last and occupational therapist approved. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and quality is assured.

   I purchased a 3 seater recliner, an armchair and a fireside chair with the assistance of Adnan last week. I can’t speak highly enough of him, he was very professional and personable and offered excellent advice. All staff are very helpful and there was a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend HSL Hendon and Adnan!
