   So very happy indeed with my painted pine bureau bookcase! It arrived a lot sooner than expected which was all the more unexpected and welcome being over the Christmas period. The seller was most helpful and it arrived via courier extremely well packed with swathes of bubble wrap and cardboard. Could not be more pleased as it met my requirements exactly.

   I had a really excellent first experience with Design by Davies. I have been looking for a dining table for some time. The graceful, clean lines of this table looked perfect for my home. The ordering process was easy and Simon got in touch almost straight away about delivery. The courier phoned me to check my availability. The firm was pleasant and helpful, and delivery was efficient and professional. The table arrived even faster than the best projected date. My new table exceeded my expectations. It is in beautiful condition and has obviously been lovingly treated. It is exactly as described and looks stunning in its new home. Overall, I could not have been happier with the service from Simon at Design by Davies and I will now be looking for other pieces from him.    I wish more store keepers were as kind as Simon is. A peaceful conversationalist and a curious mind, I felt like I was making a friend on my first ever visit to an antiques shop. I didn't plan to pick anything that day, but one of the whatnots just spoke to me, matching the criteria of something vague I had in mind to discover. Simon had just the thing and his unpretentious allure made the experience very easy to decide to get it. I loved the quality of the work and I wish someday I will be able to come back and get another item when the time is right. For anyone who is curious and not sure of what they're looking for, I am certain Simon will make you feel at ease.

   I came across Design By Davies via google search which then led me to Etsy. I was very pleased with the great selection of well cared for pieces for sale. I placed my order the night before, and the next evening the courier was able to drop it off for me. Just to note I do live in London, and Simon's studio is based in Hackney Wick. I was super impressed with the speedy response to my enquiries regarding delivery. I'm over the moon with the drawers I ordered, wonderful condition and fit perfectly in my space. Thanks again! Would highly recommend D.B.D. (Yet to style the top but thought I'd include some pics of it in the space as it's so beautiful)
